After telling him what has happened with Justin, Lance was processing hard. 

„I am outraged. But what pisses me off the most is the fact, that you didn’t tell me earlier what was going on! When the hell you started trusting Joey more than me?! This must be a joke!“ Lance blamed Josh. 

„Come on. I went through hell. Please don’t give me another hard time.“ Josh talked back.

Lance shook his head. 

„And after all what happened, T is living with you now?! That’s insane!“ 

„We worked things out as we always do. Don’t try to make me feel upset about him again, okay?“ 

„I wanna hurt him, C! I wanna hurt him very bad!“ 

„It won’t make you feel any better, if you do so. Trust me, I tried.“ 

„What about Chris? Does he know?“

Josh shook his head.

„Look, this has nothing to do with you, Chris or Joey. I didn’t see any reason getting you involved.“ 

„Still, you told Joey!“

„Just because he knew from Lucy that something was going on.“ 

„But now you need to tell Chris as well. I bet he takes the next flight to beat the shit out of T.“ 

„As I said, it’s not helping.“

Lance sighed, trying to calm down somehow. 

„I’m sorry you went through this, man. I just wished I was there for you.“

„Don’t worry. Things are good again. Even more than that.“

„More than that?“ 

Josh started smiling sheepishly, before he answered. 

„Eve is expecting a baby.“ 

„No.Fucking.Way.“ Lance stammered.

Josh continued smiling. 

„C!!! This is awesome!!! How did that happen?!“

„I know you have questions, as it has been a while since you’ve had sex with a chick. But I suggest you just google it.“ Josh teased. 

„Stop shitting me and tell me why she changed her mind about babies!“ 

Josh was still smiling all over his face. 

„Looks like she loves me pretty hard.“ 

Lance smiled back. 

„Okay. This makes sense.“ 

Mateo was engrossed in his work, sitting at his desk. Eve was sitting opposite of him, holding her phone in her hand. She was nervous, as she was thinking about getting in touch with Jess. She wasn’t sure, if this was a good idea. On the other hand, she had nothing to lose. 

„She can’t hate you more than she already does. Just go for it.“ She encouraged herself. 

Eve closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Then she started typing. 

„Can we talk?“ [Eve]

„You have nerves asking me that.“ [Jess]

Eve was surprised about Jess’ immediate response.

„I’m not asking for forgiveness. You have every right for being mad at me forever. I just want to know how you’re doing.“ [Eve]

„That’s non of your business.“ [Jess]

„Still, I ask.“ [Eve]

„If you think it was easy breaking up with him, you’re wrong! I do suffer as he does. But still I believe it was the right thing to do.“ [Jess]

„This is breaking my heart.“ [Eve]

„Don’t you dare being that arrogant to believe, that all of this happened because of you. [Jess]

„I don’t.“ [Eve]

„Justin told me you’re pregnant. I need to admit this was perfect timing to make C coming back to you.“ [Jess]

„That’s not how things happened.“ [Eve]

„However, if your kid has blond curls instead of brown, I hope he’ll be smart enough asking for a paternity test.“ [Jess]

Eve needed a moment to process. She didn’t expect Jess would be nice to her, but this hit her hard.

„Are you serious with all of this?“ Chris asked in disbelief. 

Josh sighed. He called his friend right after his workout with Lance. He knew, Lance was right saying, that Chris needed to know what was going on, as the rest of them did as well. But as expected, the conversation wasn’t easy. Chris was very disappointed about Justin’s behavior and needed some time to sort his mind. 

„It happened. And yes, it was big drama. But now Jess is gone. This is a complete new level of disaster. So please, do me a favor and don’t mess with him.“ Josh replied. 

„Jess is gone for a reason! He’s an asshole, C!“ 

„He’s not responsible for everything what went wrong between him and Jess in the past few years and you know it.“

„Stop defending him! He made out with your chick, for god’s sake!“

„But this isn’t about what happened with Eve anymore. I’m telling you, that our brother is suffering and I need you to be there for him, despite how you feel right now.“

Chris sighed.

„How is it possible you’re always the reasonable one?! Honestly, how the hell you’re doing that?!“

„I don’t know. Maybe I’m blinded by the fact, that Eve is expecting a baby…“ 

There was a short pause. Josh enjoyed shocking his friend and waited for his response. 

„Say.That.Again.“

„I’m becoming a dad.“ 

Chris was completely overwhelmed now. He needed few seconds to process. 

„I didn’t expect this to happen, if you ask me to be honest. But this are fantastic news, dude! I’m really out of mind about this! I can’t wait to tell Karly! She will completely freak out!“ 

„Thank you, man. It means a lot.“

Then there was another sudden pause, before Chris continued talking. 

„C…?“

„Yes?“

„You know for sure, they just kissed, right?“

Eve and Mateo were sitting at a bench in the park in their lunch break and eating burgers. 

„You seem completely distracted the whole day. What is it?“ Mateo asked, with full mouth. 

Eve finished her her burger before she responded. 

„This morning I wrote Jess and asked how she was doing.“ 

Mateo was surprised.

„Why that? She’s everything but not your friend, after what happened.“ 

„I know, Matty. I wished I didn’t do it. She was pretty mean.“ 

„More Information, please.“

Eve sighed.

„She made a comment about my pregnancy, claiming the baby might be Justins. I don’t know why, but it makes me feel shitty, that she believes we’ve had sex.“ 

Mateo scoffed. 

„Come one Eve, that’s ridiculous. Let her believe whatever she wants. Fact is, you and Justin just kissed. No other body fluids has been exchanged.“

Out of the sudden Eve’s heart dropped. She stared at Mateo, turning pale. 

„You look like you need to puke.“ He said irritated. 

„Mateo. What if there were other body fluids?“ She stammered. 

Mateo’s heart also skipped a beat. 

„What the hell are you talking about?!“

Eve needed a moment to figure out how to explain. 

„You remember when I told you, that Justin was pretty… excited…?“

„You mean, he was having a boner.“ 

Eve nodded. Mateo’s eyes went wide open. 

„Are you trying to say that he came?!“ 

Eve nodded again. 

Mateo stared at her like seeing a ghost. 

„No fucking way! Why on earth you kept that from me?!“ He blamed her.

„This was too intimate to share, Matty. I didn’t want to expose him.“

Mateo put the rest of his burger aside and grabbed his face. Then he tried to focus. 

„Do you think you can get pregnant this way? I mean, you’ve been dressed. And there was water all around you. The chances must have been ridiculously low that his guys found their way inside of you.“

„But do we know for sure? I’m aware of, that there was no sex but… we’ve been dangerously close, Matty.“ 

„Jesus Christ, Eve! It’s me who is dangerously close losing my mind because of you!“ 

Eve’s and Mateo’s phones started ringing several times and brought them back to reality. Both grabbed them outside their pockets.

„I’m so excited! Eve is pregnant! Congrats to mom and dad!“ [Mike]

„I just heard! That’s freakin’ awesome! I’m so happy for you guys!“ [Karly]

„Old news.“ [Joey]

„Was this really necessary, Joe? Pointing out you knew before I did?“ [Lance]

„Absolutely. I know it pisses you off.“ [Joey]

„Joe knew first?! What the fuck is going on?!“ [Chris]

„Will you ever grow up?“ [Josh]

„Hey, bestie!“ [Joey]

„Don’t you dare, Joe.“ [007]

„You better keep yourself quiet.“ [Chris]

„Chris. Behave.“ [Josh]

„What is happening?“ [Karly]

„T screwed things up as he always does.“ [Eric]

„Fuck you, Podwall.“ [007]

[Jess left the group]

„Ups.“ [Mike]

Eve and Mateo were reading the chat with their eyes wide open.

„What is going on here?“ Eve stammered.

„Looks like Josh talked to his friends. About everything.“ Mateo answered.
