„Josh! Eve! Where have you been for so long?!“ Pablo asked in deep excitement. 

He hugged them heartily, before they took their seats at the bar. 

„It’s been a rough year, Pablo.“ Josh explained. „But the good news is, we became parents.“ 

„MARIA! Good lord…! MARIA!!! THEY HAVE A BABY!!!“ Pablo shouted. 

Mario left the kitchen, staring at Eve and Josh from distance. 

„A BABY?! YOU MADE A BABY?!“ She cheered.

Then she hurried in their direction and hugged them close. Eve and Josh smiled all over their faces. 

„I’m so happy for you! Show me pictures!“ Maria said.

Josh took his phone out of his pocket and showed Maria and Pablo photos from Jake, which he made the same day in the zoo. Eve saw the proud in his eyes and her heart was melting. 

„He looks like a little angel!“ Maria said. 

„Beautiful boy! You should make more beautiful babies!“ Pablo added. 

Eve and Josh exchanged glances, still smiling. 

„Your drinks are on us, tonight. No discussion.“ Maria announced. 

After having some small talk, Maria returned into the kitchen and Pablo continued mixing cocktails. 

„It’s good to be back here.“ Josh said, sipping his virgin version of Maria knows better. 

Eve smiled.

„Did you notice, that we sit exactly at the same places when we met for the first time?“ 

„I did.“ 

„But tonight your hair looks better.“ She teased. 

„It couldn’t have been that bad, as you still took me home.“ He replied boldly. 

„What can I say? Your eyes, your smile and the sound of your voice made me weak…“ 

„Oh, really? I believed it have been my peerless dance moves.“ 

Eve laughed.

„Ya… your dance moves gave me the rest.“ 

Josh stared adoringly at her.

„Your smile was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in this world. You had me from the very first moment…“ 

Eve bit her lip, staring at him.

„Josh… I would like to take you home tonight…“ She almost whispered. 

„But you won’t…“ He said, knowing she wouldn’t allow herself doing that step.“ 

She lowered her head, being frustrated about the situation. Josh put one hand on her thigh, rubbing it gently. 

„I’ll wait as long as it takes. You don’t have to rush things. I understand you need time to decide.“ He added. 

She looked into his eyes again.

„The thing is, don’t want to decide.“ 

„But you have to.“

„Why?“ 

Josh frowned. 

„Eve, what is this about?“ 

„I want you both.“ 

He needed few seconds to process.

„Are you talking about sex?“

She immediately shook her head. 

„Then explain to me.“

Eve didn’t know how to start. She didn’t plan having the conversation with him. Probably she wouldn’t have dared talking about it, if she was sober. 

„Justin asked, if I could imagine being in a relationship with both of you. And I said yes.“

Josh was shocked.

„Are you serious?! He made such a suggestion?!“

„No. It was a hypothetical question.“ 

„This is… madness…“ He stammered. 

She was disappointed about his reaction, but she didn’t expect anything different. 

„I agree. Still, the idea gives me a deep thrill.“ 

„Eve, listen to me. I can’t imagine sharing you with my best friend. I love T… I would do everything for him… but NOT this.“ 

„Okay.“ She replied quietly. 

Josh took a deep breath.

„I’ll bring you home now, it’s getting late.“ 

„I’m sorry for killing the mood.“ She apologized. 

„You didn’t.“ He lied. 

„Did you lose your mind or something???“ Josh blamed Justin harshly. 

As soon as he brought Eve back home and returned to his car, he grabbed his phone and called him. 

„Why the fuck you call me that late?! I woke me up!“ Justin talked back. 

„You asked her, if she wanted to be with both of us??? What the hell is wrong with you???“ Josh continued blaming. 

Justin rolled his eyes and sighed. 

„It was Joe’s idea. He told Lansten and he told me and then I thought about it and asked for Eve’s opinion.“

„Joe?!“ Are we talking about the same person?!“ 

„Yes.“ 

„You can’t be serious! All of you!“ 

„Calm down, dude. It was just a thought.“ 

„But she likes that crazy idea!!!““ 

Justin chuckled.

„Can you blame her?“ 

Josh closed his eyes for a second and deeply sighed.

„Look… the sex thing… I’m fine, if she wants both of us once in while… but that’s all I have to give…“ 

„Well, that’s interesting. So you liked it…“ Justin teased. 

„I liked giving her what she wanted… but not seeing your naked ass…

„When did you see my naked ass?“ 

Josh rolled his eyes. 

„Can we stop talking about that topic?“ 

„You started this.“

„T… be serious… are you really believing this could work out?“ 

„I’m aware of the fact, that this is very experimental. But it’s not like we’re inventing something new. There are people who live this way.“ 

„Does it mean you would really agree to this craziness if I did?“ 

„Look, it’s not how I imagined my life with her. I reacted as you did when Lansten made the suggestion. But then I thought about it and opened up myself to that idea. I mean, if this is making her happy, I would give it a try…“ 

„I wished you didn’t say that.“

„Why?“

„Because now I’m the only asshole who won’t let it happen.“

„C… come on. She won’t blame you for this.“ 

Again Josh sighed. 

„When I told her this was madness she was disappointed.“ 

„Don’t worry about it. She’ll be fine.“ 

There was a pause. 

„T… I wished I could but… I really can’t… this is not me…“

„I know.“

„Congrats, dude. You woke up all of us. If there isn’t a damn good reason why you called in the middle of the night, I’ll hire a hit man.“ Chris said.

„Go somewhere, where Karly can’t hear you.“ Josh replied. 

„Why?“

„Eve wants a triangle. And Justin is fine with that.“ 

Chris turned pale, staring at Karly. She was stroking Nash’s little head to bring him back to sleep, as he sneaked into their bed in the middle of the night. 

„What does he want?“ Karly whispered curiously. 

„That jerk must be completely drunk. I’ll be right back.“ Chris answered and hurried out of the bedroom.

„What did you say???“ He squeaked into the phone on his way downstairs. 

„Eve told me she wants both of us.“

„Can you start from the beginning, man? I don’t even know what happened in the wedding night, when you suddenly left Eric and me alone at the bar.“

„You’re right. Listen…“ 

Chris was sitting in his armchair and shaking his head. He just couldn’t stop.

„Could you please say something?“ 

„I’m processing.“ Chris stammered. „It will take a while.“ 

„Stop that shit, man. I need advice!“

„Excuse me, but I’m traumatized. You had sex with T.“

„I didn’t have sex with T!“

„You shared the same woman… there’s no difference…“ 

„May I remind you what happened in Europe back in those days…?“

Chris cleared his throat, feeling a little ashamed.

„Germany was unreal…“ 

„It was…“

„Ya, however… but you are too old for that shit now. You shouldn’t have sex with T…“
