Eve woke up, with her face being pressed against Josh’s chest. His arm was embracing her body tightly. She took a deep breath and begun placing gentle kisses on his chest. Josh woke up slowly.

Sarah entered their office in the next second. 

„You’re back!“ She said, looking at Eve. 

Then she hurried into her direction and hugged her close.

„Did you hear from Justin?“ Sarah wanted to know.

Mateo raised his eyebrows.

Sarah frowned, not knowing about Justin’s fling with Jessica. Mateo didn’t explain to her what exactly has happened. 

„What did I miss?“ 

„It looks like he’s till having feelings for his ex-wife.“ Eve answered. 

„No fucking way!“ Sarah replied. „He was crazy for you! It makes no sense!“ 

Eve let herself fall at her chair. 

„I am the perfect example, that you can love two people at once.“ 

Sarah sighed. 

„So, he broke up with you to be with her?“ 

Eve shook her head. 

„It wasn’t that simple…“ 

„What is happening?“ Eve asked surprised, as she entered the house the same night.

Josh was standing in front of her, wearing a dark blue suit, with a white business shirt, brown leather shoes and a belt matching their color. 

„We’re going out tonight.“ He answered, coming another step closer. 

Then he pulled her to his chest and kissed her lips.

„Mr. Chasez, you need to explain.“ She talked into his mouth.

He broke their kiss and smiled. 

„Your silent partner is finally leaving your firm. I think this is a good reason to ask my beautiful wife out for dinner.“ 

Eve smiled all over her face and placed another kiss on his lips.

„You’re cute.“

„Just cute?“ He asked, looking down his own body.

„I brought him to Lance and Michael. They’re keeping him over night.“

Eve stared at him for a moment. 

„Is Justin still with them?“ She asked carefully.

„Yes.“

„How is he doing?“ 

Josh stroke some hair behind her ear, giving her a calm smile.

„He’s okay. Not good, but… okay…“ 

Eve just nodded. 

„He was happy seeing Jake. I’m sure he’ll cheer him up a little.“ Josh added. 

„Justin loves our baby.“ 

„I know that. I promised not taking Jake away from him.“ 

„Thank you.“ 

„For what?“

„For being understanding.“ 

Josh kissed her forehead carefully. 

„You know what T means to me. I love that jerk. And I want all of us being good.“
