Lisa couldn’t believe that her mother exposed her like that. She felt like throwing up any second. Hastily she raised herself and rushed into the house. Silas watched her disappear. Then he looked at his brother, being unable processing the news. Phin wasn’t sure what was going on in Silas’s mind. Of course he knew about everything what happened between his brother and Lisa five years ago. But now he was the one who was together with her. It was him, who helped her out of her emotional crisis when Silas left. He didn’t feel guilty about having her. But he was deeply concerned how Lisa was feeling about Silas. 

„Liz? Are you okay?“ Lisa heard Violet’s voice saying through the closed door. 

She locked herself in the bathroom, sitting at the toilet lit and staring into space. 

„Lizzy, talk to me please.“ 

Few seconds later, Lisa opened the door and let her friend inside. 

„Jesus… you look awful. Did you throw up?“ 

Lisa just nodded and sad down at the lid again. 

„Tell me what’s going on,“ Violet said carefully, kneeling down in front of her. 

Lisa stared into her best friend’s eyes. 

„Yesterday…“ she said with thin voice.

Violet patiently waited for her to move on. 

„Yesterday he was here…“ Lisa added. 

„Silas was at your party?“ Violet asked surprised. 

„V… I… I did something unforgivable…“

Violet was deeply concerned now. 

„What do you mean, Lizzy?“ 

„I… I cheated on Phin…“ 

Violet's jaw dropped to the floor.

„Are you saying… you… you slept with your boyfriend’s brother?“ 

Lisa nodded. 

„Good lord, Lizzy… good lord… you just slept with Silas like nothing ever happened?“ 

Lisa nodded again. 

„This is a disaster… good lord…“ 

Violet was completely overwhelmed.

„What now… what will you do now?“ 

„I don’t know.“

Both girls looked deep into each others eyes. 

„You still love him. I know you do.“

Again Lisa nodded. 

„Suddenly Violet grabbed her best friend’s hands.“

„But you can’t do this to Phin. You can’t do this right now. Their album release. He will be devastated. He will mess everything up, if he loses you. All the work he and Jake put into this… you just can’t do that to both of them…“ 

„V… I cheated on him. It’s already too late…“ 

Violet shook her head. 

„Who knows about it?“ 

„Just you.“ 

„Then it’s not too late. You just need to keep quiet and make sure Silas does, as well.“ 

Lisa opened her eyes wide.

„Do you listen to yourself? I can’t hide what happened. I can’t hide what I feel for Silas. I never could.“ 

„But you must,“ Violet said strictly. „This isn’t just about you. You’ll ruin Phin’s and your brother’s career, if you don’t keep quiet.“
