Silas stared at him, impatiently waiting for more information.

„She’s in Germany and stays at her grandparent’s house,“ Justin continued talking. 

„If you know where she is, why no one went there to bring her back?!“ 

„Because she don’t wanna come back.“ 

Silas frowned. 

„Why not?“ 

Justin looked at him for a moment, figuring out how to move on.

„She met someone.“ 

Silas jumped out of bed, standing in front of him now. 

„What does that mean?“ 

Again Justin was just staring, being sure Silas was having the right idea what was going on. Silas turned more sick than he already was. 

„I don’t believe this… no… I don’t believe this…“ he stammered. 

„She’s not having the strength taking the risk getting hurt from you again.“ 

Silas was processing hard. Then he stared into his father’s eyes. 

„Why are you telling me this?“ 

„If you want Lizzy, you must do something now. There’s no time to lose,“ Justin explained. 

Silas was shocked hearing him say that. 

„Are you serious? You want me to go there and make her mine?“ he asked in disbelief. 

„Yes. And you need to hurry, before she chooses another life without you in it.“

„Dad…“ Silas stammered. „Are you really giving me your blessing?“

Justin eyes suddenly filled with tears.

„It’s time to make things right,“ he said quietly. 

Silas couldn’t believe what he was listening to. It was more than just overwhelming. 

„What about Eve?“ he asked carefully. 

„She won’t stop you. We’re on the same page.“ 

Seeing his father getting emotional was the last thing Silas expected to happen. Suddenly he felt a deep relief deep within his soul. His pain and frustration which were dominating his feelings over five years disappeared in a heartbeat. 

Justin could see what was happening to his son. He came a step closer and embraced him tightly. Silas immediately responded his father’s hug. His eyes filled with tears, as well. 

„I love you, son. I never meant to harm you,“ Justin whispered. 

„I’m sorry, dad… I’m sorry for everything I put all of you through,“ Silas sobbed. 

Both released each other slowly, wiping away their tears. 

„You need to pack,“ Justin said.

Silas cracked a smile. Then he hurried into his closet and grabbed his bag pack. He was finished packing his stuff within one minute. Justin frowned, looking at him. 

„What?“ Silas asked irritated. 

„You look like a caveman.“ 

„You said I need to hurry.“ 

Justin sighed. 

„Ya, whatever. Let’s hope she loves you enough to ignore your disgusting physical condition.“ 

Silas chuckled. 

„Hey um… that guy she met over there… what do you know about him?“

„All I know is, that he wants your girl. Now stop talking and move.“

„What is happening?“ Phin asked irritated, when Justin and Silas returned downstairs. 

He stood up from the sofa and stopped standing in front of them, staring at Silas’s bag pack. 

„Bro… I… I need to hear it again…“ Silas stammered. 

„What exactly?“ Phin asked irritated. 

„That you allow me being with Lizzy.“

Phin didn’t understand what was happening. 

„Could someone please explain what is going on here?“ 

„I’m gonna make her mine… if you let me,“ Silas replied.

„Where does this change of mind suddenly come from?“ 

„She ran away,“ Justin said. „And Si is the only one who can bring her back.“ 

„What???“ Phin squeaked. 

„Bro… please… please say you really meant what you’ve said,“ Silas begged. 

Phin stared at him for a moment. Then he nodded.

„I meant what I’ve said. You have my blessing.“ 

Silas hugged his brother enthusiastically. Then he rushed out of the house.

„What the hell just happened, dad?“ Phin continued asking. 

„Let’s sit,“ Justin answered. „I’ll explain…“ 

Eve begun preparing some dinner after talking to Lisa and wondered what happened to Justin. She tried to call him, but he didn’t pick up. Half our later, as she was almost finished, he returned home. 

„If you adapt Josh’s bad habits and hide yourself to avoid being involved into cooking, we will have a serious problem here,“ she joked, as he entered the kitchen. 

Justin smiled, came closer and pulled her into his arms. She put her arms around his neck, smiling back. 

„You know I love cooking with you.“ 

„Then tell me where you’ve been.“ 

„At home, seeing the boys.“

Eve raised her eyebrows.

„Are they okay?“ 

„Dunno… yet…“

„Honey, could you please talk in full sentences and tell me what this is about?“ 

„I did it again,“ he replied.

„Did what again?“ 

„I interfered.“  

Eve frowned. 

„How?“

„I told them about Lizzy.“ 

Eve stared at him in disbelief. 

„Why you did that? She asked us not telling them where she was.“

Justin raised one hand and cupped her cheek gently.

„It’s time for Lizzy coming back home, don’t you think?“ 

„Of course. But we can’t force her.“ 

„That’s why a played the joker.“ 

„What do you mean?“ 

„I told Silas about Tom.“

Eve’s jaw dropped to the floor. 

„Good lord…“

„He’s on his way to Germany.“
