Lisa slowly begun to realize what this was about. She absolutely didn’t see that coming. Her heart started racing. 

„I must be dreaming…“ 

Silas cracked a smile. He was surprised about himself, that he managed staying completely calm. Maybe this was, because he had no single doubt, that Lisa wanted it as much as he did. 

Slowly he put the ring out of the box.

„Lisa Chasez, will you give me the honor being my wife?“ 

She turned in his direction and started crying with all of her heart.

„I dreamed about this moment since I know what love is… I can’t believe this is really happening…“

He cupped her face with one hand, smiling at her. 

„You need to answer my question, Tinky.“ 

Tears were running down her cheeks. 

„Yes… yes I do…“ she sobbed, hardly being able to speak. 

Silas took her right hand and put the ring on her finger.

„Thank god it fits,“ he said relieved. „It’s not like you can change the size of a wooden ring that easily.“ 

She stared at her hand, being unable processing what just happened. 

„It’s unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never seen a ring like this before. And it’s having a ruby. That’s my birth stone.“ 

Silas couldn’t be more proud, like in this moment. 

„I made it myself in Tom’s workshop.“ 

Lisa looked at him like seeing a ghost. 

„You did what?“ 

„It’s really true. Actually, making a ring out of wood was Tom’s idea. It’s a reference to my name. He showed me how to make it. Then we went to an old goldsmith and let him apply the ruby.“

„I can’t believe all of this… Tom helped you making a ring for me… this is crazy…“

„He’s a great guy.“

Lisa looked at her hand again. She loved the ring, as much as she loved Silas. Their love was anything but ordinary. And so was his ring.

Then she looked at him and smiled.

„How did you know my size?“

„Jake was my parter in crime. He found out, checking your jewelry at home.“

Lisa kissed his lips.

„It feels surreal being engaged to you… I don’t know, if I will ever process this…“

„You have no idea how happy you make me, Tinky. You’re all I need. Nothing will ever change that.“

„I love you, Silas Timberlake. I will love you until the end of time.“ 

The same time in Los Angeles:

„Silas… he’s… he’s unbelievable…“ Eve said, while sorting her mind. 

Lisa and Silas just gave her and Justin a call to inform them about their engagement. After hanging up, they were sitting next to each other at the sofa, processing the latest news.  

„Well… it makes sense, don’t you think? After all what happened, Si owed her commitment. Lizzy needs certainty, that he won’t allow anything or anybody coming between them ever again.“

Eve thought about what Justin just said. 

„She’s still so young.“

Justin smiled.

„If this wasn’t Lizzy, I would agree it’s little early for marriage. But your daughter exactly knows what she wants.“

Eve looked at him and nodded.

„You’re right. I understand Silas is the only one who can make her truly happy. I just need to get used to the whole situation.“

Justin put his arm around her shoulders and kissed her temple. 

„I’m happy for them.“ 

„Me, too, of course. But my heart breaks when I think about Phin.“ 

„I know, M. It sucks. Still I believe, he’ll learn to deal with it.“ 

She looked at him again and smiled. 

„I think both of us need a little distraction from that big news.“

Justin raised her eyebrows.

„Are you talking about sex?“

„No, I’m not talking about sex.“ 

„Why not?“ 

Eve rolled her eyes.

„I wanna show you our house.“ 

Justin looked at her surprised. 

„Are you saying the renovation is finished?“

It’s almost done, accept your studio. I need some information how exactly you wanna design it.“ 

He kissed her head again.

„Okay, let’s go and see our new home, my love.“
