Jake nodded. 

„You knew she was seeing Silas and didn’t say anything?!“ Eve blamed his son. 

„Mom, calm down! I found out by chance. Lizzy begged me to keep quiet. What did you expect me to do, hm? She’s my sister!“  

„You should have say something! What they’ve been doing was wrong! You should have know that!“ 

„They love each other! I didn’t want causing any harm!“

„No harm?! Look what have happened! Your sister got pregnant, being 16 years old!“ 

„I understand you’re upset about the whole situation. But don’t put the blame on me!“

Jake left the kitchen, being upset about their fight. He hurried upstairs, knocked at Lisa’s door and went inside. 

„Jakey…“

Lisa immediately started crying, seeing her brother coming closer. He sat down at the edge of her bed and hugged her closely. 

„It’s okay… I’m here for you… you’ll be fine…“ he tried to comfort her.

They held each other like this for a while. Then Lisa slowly released him.

„I need your help…“ she sobbed, hardly being able to talk.

„What kind of help, Lizzy?“

„Silas doesn’t reply to any of my messages. I have a very bad feeling, Jakey. I need to know, if he’s okay. You need to find him.“ 

Jake looked into her desperate eyes. He was terribly mad at Silas, that he brought his sister into this situation. But he also knew how much she loved him. 

„Okay,“ he said calmly, stroking some hair out of her face. „I will find him.“ 

At the same time, at another place:

„I can’t believe this. I can’t believe all of this,“ Nash said, after hearing the latest news. 

He was sitting next to Silas at his sofa, processing hard. 

„Why you kept from me, that you’ve been seeing each other?“ 

„I didn’t want making you my partner in crime, Nash. Besides, I didn’t expect you would understand.“ 

„Come on, man. I’m your best friend. Being on your side is my duty, no matter what.“ 

Silas sighed in deep frustration. He was still completely overwhelmed, having not the tiniest idea how to handle the mess he caused. 

„I’m such an idiot… how could I let all of that happen… I broke my own rules…“ 

„Which rules, Si?“ 

„We agreed not having sex until she turns 18. But the day I learned about my parent’s break up, when I was drunk from drinking Bourbon with you, I got weak.“ 

Nash looked at him for a moment. 

„Dude… Lizzy is young but… she’s fire. How could you believe, you were able resisting her for that long?“ 

Silas grabbed his face with both hands. 

„I don’t know… I’m an idiot…“ 

„Having sex with her is one thing. But what about protection? Did you just…“ 

„Of course not,“ Silas interrupted his friend. „But one night the condom slipped off… this is the only explanation I have.“

„Okay… what now, Si… you still wanna see her?“ 

„I love her. You have no idea how much. But Eve… she made very clear what will happen, if I don’t leave her alone.“

„What do you mean?“ 

„She threatened me to report me to the cops.“ 

Nash stared at him in disbelief.

„What the fuck?!“ 

„She was completely out of mind. I was shocked seeing her being this way. It was a nightmare.“

„Do you really think she’s capable doing this to you?“ 

In the next moment there was a knock at Nash’s front door. 

„Who’s that?“ Silas asked. 

„I don’t know.“ 

Nash went into the hall to open up.

„I know he’s here. His bike parks in front of your garage.“ 

Nash nodded. 

„Let me in.“

„Uncle T… come on. This is the last thing he needs right now.“

„I said, let me in.“ 

Nash caved in. 

Justin went into the living room. Silas glanced at him.

„I’m in my bedroom,“ Nash said, giving them some privacy. 

Justin sat down next to his son at the sofa. There was silence for a short moment. 

„I know what I did, dad. I don’t need another lecture,“ Silas finally said. 

„I didn’t came to blame you all over again,“ Justin replied. 

„Then why you came, instead?“ 

„To talk about what will happen next.“

Silas looked at him. 

„What exactly are you trying to say?“ 

Justin took a deep breath, before answering. 

„There is no way you can see Lizzy again. There is no way. You understand what I say?“ 

„I hear you loud and clear,“ Silas said cynically. 

„The problem is, her obsession with you is out of control.“

„Why are you talking about her like she was a lunatic?“ 

„Because she is. Let’s face the truth, Silas. She’s not having herself under control."

„She’s in love with me. Nothing is wrong about being in love with someone, dad.“ 

„Obsession and love are two different things, Si.“ 

„I don’t understand your point.“ 

„She can’t heal and learn what love really means, if you’re around. She needs space and time to get over you. If she really means something to you, you will understand, that the only right thing to do is keeping both of you on distance.“

Silas stared at his father, being deeply devastated. 

„Are you saying, you want me to leave town and give up on my job?“ 

„You could go to New York for a while. My apartment is yours. I’ll help you meeting the right people to find a new acting job right on the spot.“ 

Silas shook his head in deep disappointment. 

„One failure… I made one failure and all you think about is, how to get rid of me, as quick as possible…“ 

„You still don’t understand what is happening here,“ Justin interrupted him. „If you see Lizzy again, Eve won’t hesitate for a single second to turn your life into hell.“

„And you? What will you do then, hm? Will you just watch me burn?“ 

„You exactly new what you were doing, Silas. If you don’t take my well meant advice, you’ll deal with the consequences.“
