Eve was terrified by her daughter’s mental breakdown. She was completely overwhelmed, not knowing what to do. 

In the same moment the front door opened up. Josh entered the house, witnessing the scene. 

„DAD!!!“ Lisa screamed, giving him a pleading look. 

Jake couldn’t be more relieved, that their dad arrived just in time. Immediately he released Lisa. She rushed into Josh’s arms, still crying badly. 

„I got you,“ Josh replied, embracing her body tightly. „It’s okay, pumpkin. I got you…“ 

Hours later. 

After letting her cry in his arms for a while, Josh brought Lisa back to bed. She was terribly exhausted. Her body urgently needed to recover from her miscarriage, while her soul was deeply traumatized from losing Silas. Josh stayed with her, until she calmed down and finally fell asleep. 

„Hey…“ he said, entering the living room. 

Eve was sitting at the sofa with another drink in her hand and staring into space. He sat down next to her and offered a hug. Eve put her glass aside and embraced him tightly. Then she begun crying. 

„I went through hell today, Josh…“ she sobbed quietly. 

„He caressed her hair, pushing her even closer to his body. 

„I’m so sorry I wasn’t here for you… for all of you…“ he replied. 

Eve released him slowly and looked at him. 

„I completely lost my mind in the hospital… if Justin wasn’t there… I guess I would have hurt Silas…“ she said, being shocked about her own behavior. 

Josh cupped her face gently with one hand. 

„You just reacted like every mother would have reacted in such a situation, cupcake. You tried to protect our baby girl.“ 

Tears were running down her cheeks. 

„I’m so mad at him. I’m so unbelievably mad at him…“ 

„It’s okay… be mad at him. You have every right feeling this way.“ 

Eve cried harder. Josh wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead. 

In the next moment Jake entered the room. Both looked at him, as he came closer and let himself fall into the armchair. 

„What a nightmare…“ he said, staring into space. 

„Jake… please tell us why Lizzy freaked out like that,“ Eve said. 

He looked at her.

„Silas wrote a goodbye letter for Lizzy and asked me to give to her.“ 

Eve and Josh exchanged glances. 

„Where is Silas now?“ Josh wanted to know.

„I have no idea.“

Josh grabbed his phone out of his pocket and dialed Justin’s number. 

„Hey man,“ Justin immediately picked up. 

„Hey… I’m finally back home… Lizzy is a mess. Actually, all of us are…“ 

There was a short pause. Justin deeply sighed. 

„I’m so sorry for what have happened.“ 

„Please don’t do that. This is not your fault, T.“ 

„I feel responsible for what my son did to your daughter… I’m still in shock…“ 

„All of us are.“ 

„I know.“

„Hey… Jake told us, that Silas wrote Lizzy a goodbye letter. Do you know where he is right now?“ 

„I met him at Nash’s after leaving the hospital. I offered to let him have my apartment in New York and stay there for a while. But I don’t know, if he’ll listen to me.“

„He can’t leave town, as he’s shooting the series for Netflix.“ 

„I can make sure, he’ll get a much better job in a heartbeat and you know that.“ 

There was another pause. 

„Does Jess know what happened today?“ Josh wanted to know next. 

„I didn’t have the chance talking to her, yet.“

„But you should.“

„Ya, I know. I will.“

„Okay… see you around. T.“

„See you around, C.“ 

When Justin hung up, he heard someone entering the house. Being curious which of his son’s it was, he hurried into the hallway. 

„It’s you,“ Justin said, seeing Phin putting off his jacket. 

„Did you expect someone else?“ Phin asked irritated. 

Justin grabbed his face with both hands and deeply sighed. Phin couldn’t be more confused about his dad’s behavior. 

„Did something happen?“ 

Justin looked at him again. 

„Come on… let’s have a drink, before I explain…“ 

Phin’s world was upside down after hearing the whole story. He took his glass of Bourbon from the coffee table and emptied it in one go.

„Easy, tiger,“ Justin said. 

„I need another one,“ Phin replied. 

„No.“ 

Phin sighed, shaking his head.

„I never expected something like this to happen. I had no idea Si was interested in her… when the hell all of this happened…?“ 

„Probably they started seeing each other, when she was preparing him for his casting.“ 

„I don’t know what to say, dad. This is a disaster.“ 

„Yes, it is.“

„Where is Si now?“ 

„Dunno… I guess still with Nash.“
