Chapter One- Mystery Man

We walked so slowly towards the entrance, it was Carrie's birthday one of my closest friends and we wanted to surprise her by gaining entry into a club which was known for having celebrities visit. I must admit we hatched this plan 3 months before the day taking it extremely seriously. We knew the deal with this club we've been told many time ‘If your name wasn't on the list you can just get the fuck out of there'. Les Deux is always graced by someone relatively famous, we've heard stories from associates and friends that they have queued for over and hour and never got in. Now Carrie was turning twenty older than I am so you can see why sometimes it's a struggle for us to find somewhere to party now and then. However on a night like this you just gotta hatch a plan. It was I who had the idea to try and get us in there and Kendra another one of my closes friends came up with how we were actually going to get inside.

We decided to make friends with the doormen so driving by on some very busy nights, (as it was going to be a busy night we went there) we checked out to see what doormen were there and somehow find them and get talking to them. This part Kendra did with maximum speed. It's probably not hard to figure out how she got there attention. It was after that we began noticing them here and there around L.A. Funnily enough one of the guys Jimmy short for James, we couldn't believe he actually went to UCLA. That's when everything began to just land on our laps. For 2 whole months I we forced ourselves to be extra nice until one night when we were eating pizza with Jimmy and one of his friends he told us what his job was and if we would like to get into the club he worked for.

Me and Kendra winked at each other very slyly and in the calmest voices we could manage we said we'd see what our schedules looked like. When he and his friend left we couldn't believe just how simple it was to actually pass such a difficult task.

It wasn't till a few days before Saturday night I realised if we didn't look old enough the other one could just say no and Jimmy would just have to shrug and apologize.

I'm a type of person who when they have their mind set on something they aint gonna fail it or lose. So I pushed Kendra to see the other doorman a few times not to talk to him because it might seem too obvious but it just be a coincidence and send him a few smiles like any stranger would do. Kendra my dear friend would do this willingly anyday.

‘Kendra are you ready?' I whispered as we continued walking slowly she nodded but I could tell she was nervous if we got shot down we'd be soo pissed. I don't think I would be able to stop myself if I begged (so not true). I glanced behind to Carrie and Michelle we were a close bunch of friends we hardly could go anywhere without each other.  I stopped as Kendra stopped, I turned to look at her giving her a bewildered look.

‘I don't think I can do it' she told me shaking her head trying to pull us both back away from the direction of the club.

I held her hand tighter ‘Of course you can we're in this together you know' I reminded her as I pulled her forward. We both gasped as we saw the queue, a queue that was long too long I think for anyone to even think of waiting in. Carrie and Michele caught up she was excited but not about what we were about to do. I guess if we did anything she'd be happy, but it being her birthday I was determined to get her in this club.

I noticed Jimmy dressed up all in black and one other guy. Shit I thought he wasn't one that I had pushed Kendra to talk to but I never fear this will go to plan.

As soon as we got to the red robe Jimmy smiled. I couldn't help but look to the people queued up right at the front waiting. Their conversation was halted as they watched to see if we would get let through without queuing. Kendra was about to step forward to say something to Jimmy when he pulled the robe back and waved a hand for us to go straight through. My face lit up, all the looks and noise from the club I had blocked out, so I could just concentrate on getting in, hit my ear drums so hard that I held onto Kendra that bit more.  Once we got through I couldn't believe how beautiful it really was.

‘How did that just happen?' Carrie asked her face shocked as we waited by the fountains to take in this wonderful club. Kendra and I winked and smiled. ‘Happy birthday!' we cried giving her a hug.

‘This is insane I thought we were just going to walk past what have you been up to?' she wandered

‘We'll explain it all tomorrow' I offered not wanting us to waste another second discussing the what when how why business.

‘Yeah right now enjoy yourself' Kendra laughed as Michelle who was also dumbfounded on what had happened led Carrie away.

Kendra and I passed through people as we made our way to the bathroom, the place hadn't packed up but it looked amazing the décor was incredible never had I been in a place so beautiful it was so damn mesmerising.

‘We did it' I squealed hugging Kendra we let go as we walked forward to the ladies.

‘I know we are in the hottest club ever'

‘So many people have been here Paris all the rest of them'

‘That's crazy isn't it'

‘I know' I looked into the mirror staring at my face.

Cassie you did it girl I thought to myself smiling I checked my hair and flicked a few parts over that had moved by itself and my makeup still looked good I placed a finger on my cheek to smooth out some of my make up. My skin looked much lighter in this light it looked like a light caramel compared to the medium brown caramel complexion I had. I frowned what was I doing in here I'm a party person I will dance till they play the last track.  Me always dancing to songs never struck me as amazing like it does to some people, I get asked a lot  ‘how do you do it?'. My answer is always ‘It's just how I am if a bad song is playing I'll two step but if I really cant stand it I will sit down'. I don't even drink that much at clubs it's all about the music the DJ and the dance floor and I wont stop.

‘Kendra I'll meet you out there' I said turning to my right she nodded as she continued to do some more of her make up. I took my green clutch bag and walked out as some people walked in, I scanned the bar for my friends.

‘There you are you haven't even got to the dance floor' Kendra smiled as she pulled me through people without a care.

Later

I had danced so much that I could hear my voice going slightly we agreed on a quick break to the bar.

‘Can I have a Malibu and water for her' Kendra said coolly, I sat up my head snapping to face her.

‘How come I get water' I asked laughing thinking it was a joke, I mean I'm not pregnant and Michelle the vegetarian never drinks so she can drive.

‘You don't drink much, remember what you said' I smiled fakely to her knowing she was all too right.

‘Oh thank you Kendra' I said in a sarcastic tone.

‘Your welcome' I took the water and looked round. I could just see Carrie and Michelle dancing away with a couple of guys.

‘Would you like me to buy you a real drink' I had my back to the person so I gave an odd look to Kendra to quickly communicate with me if I should bother looking behind, when her mouth opened to a big smile I instantly turned around.

‘Yeah sure' I told him after the shock washed away quickly. He ordered as I placed my head down not actually believing this, I was doing my best not to let my smile show. He had no idea what he was letting himself in for tonight.

‘There you go'

‘Thank you' I sat there twirling my drink not quite sure what else I should say.

‘Did it hurt?' he asked his head slightly to the side.

‘I beg your pardon did what hurt?'

‘When you fell from heaven' my head shot up and my mouth fell open, I began giggling but hey I was no proper lady. I roared with laughter placing my drink down and threw my head back laughing. That was by far the cheesiest old skool chat up I had heard in a long time.

‘Cassie' Kendra whispered so I would calm down slightly. I breathed out calming myself I was so sure he would of stood up and left leaving me laughing on my own but no he was still sitting there chucking a couple of nuts into his mouth just patiently waiting.

‘Your still here' my shocked voice obviously meaning I expected him to go.

‘Were you trying to get rid of me?' he asked, whether my answer was a yes it wouldn't have mattered he was getting comfortable.

‘Probably' I shrugged taking a sip of my water then my alcoholic beverage.

‘Oh the answer to your question is yes I bumped a bit of my body here and there care to rub and kiss it better' I said in my most seductive voice I could muster without letting out I was laughing inside.

‘You gonna show me where' I smiled he was good, alright time to think quick Cassie, you've flirted back time to make it just a bit harder.

‘Nope your going to have to find it yourself'

‘What if I miss a spot?' I lifted up my right eyebrow.

‘Trust me you wouldn't want to do that' I bit the side of my lip as I let my head relax and fall gently onto the bar surface. Cassie you just placed yourself in a hole you need to think of something.

‘Just tell me where it hurts' I giggled and not as big as before. I stood up taking his hand leading him to the dance floor. After a few steps it hit me that, my decision to lead him was so forward he could easily slip from my hand and refuse, now that would be embarrassing. I wandered if I was actually pulling or was he following. I relaxed until our hands let go. My first though it to turn around to look but I just have too much pride to look behind.  I see a tight group of clubbers and in a way it would be safe escape I wouldn't look like a loner. Just when I'm about to squeeze through two hands touch my waist. I move my head round and see him smiling moving his head to tell me to go further. I can't help but smile as I excuse my way through. If this couldn't get cheesier enough a slow jam hits the speakers, it would be too slow to grind so I turned around placing my arms around his neck. I let out a sigh, and let my mind do a helluva lot of thinking I mean what on earth was I doing, usually I don't make eye contact with people I don't make eye contact with first, cause you know as soon as you make eye contact with someone who's been staring at you they usually are a creep in my books. The flirting earlier was so out of character...okay that's a big lie but I usually scare them off and nobody has kept up with me like he has.

His fingertips rubbed the middle of my back as his hands fell lower and lower, wherever they were going his fingers felt good on my skin. His fingers lightly traced there way down to my hips and rest there. I wasn't going to say no more just shut up for the rest of the night Cassie.
