Aw man! that last line!!!!!! Just caught up on the last two updates. I'm getting so hooked on this story. Your stories are so freshing the way you tell them. But man, I see nothing but trouble down the line and a love triangle forming. I actually like Scarlett in this. I don't want to see her get hurt ya know? Unless she turns out to be a bitch. lol. I like Zooey  and she and Justin have a good dynamic, definitely chemistry there. And I think Justin might slowly be starting to like her even if it's a tiny bit that he hasn't identified yet. lol lol. Anyway I can't wait to see how this is going to play out. Oh and what was up with her rude friends?

Author's Response: Awwww, thank you so much! When I'm writing, sometimes I just feel like I'm boring the hell out of you guys, but if you like it, I'll take it lol. You're right, though, trouble is pretty much inevitable when an awesome girl finds a connection with an engaged man lol. And then his fiancee is pretty awesome herself (she more than likely won't end up a bitch, I have to say), so yeah... trouble! And then feelings are forming when they shouldn't and egos may be bruised and all kinds of messy stuff. Yep, stay tuned. We're all in for a nice little ride! As for her friends, idk, I think I just wanted to show a little of her world and what she'd have to deal with if anything *did* happen with Justin. Don't worry, they won't be around a lot lol. OMG! It was NOT innocent! They are lying to themselves and are in denial if they really believe that. And you see? This is going down a bad bad road. I can just see Scarlett getting upset and asking Jusitn who Zooey is. Ugh. lol.

I'm loving this but the complexity of Justin and Zooey's situation is making me nervous. It would have been too easy to have him single. No, he had to be engaged on the verge of marriage to meet the one woman who could fuck it all up for him. haha. I loved the conversation between them, especially when they were talking about relationships. I kind of don't want Zooey to be a homewrecker because I really love Scarlett in this. And unless she changes and becomes evil, I'll feel bad if Justin and Zooey hook up. But don't get me wrong, I still want them to hook up. haha. Point is, it looks like someone will eventually get hurt.

Author's Response: Justin's reasoning did kind of make it all bittersweet, didn't it? But I think that makes it a little interesting, you kind of see little hints of his own possible self-destruction, which I think is important. But hey, maybe he won't actually do anything *too* wrong! I am so sorry for torturing you, but yeah, you may want to get used to it. There's no light at the end of this tunnel for a while lol. But thank you so much for reading! And I try to make my characters as real as possible for that exact reason, so you can relate and love and hate and all that good stuff, so I'm so glad you do!

That was so simple yet beautiful and sad. You have a way with words...

Omg, I felt that in my heart because I know that type of longing between two friends. That was definitely a tug on the emotions for them. And maybe the beginning stages of possible love. Gah! You're killin' me here! I wish this was all written out and posted, it drives me crazy when I reach the end and need more and there's no more to read! teehee

Anyhoo, I feel as if, the fact that neither Justin nor Zooey had any self restraint or control over simply holding hands, what would happen if they ended up loving each other completely? This is exciting. I'm understanding more of what pulls Justin to Zooey since she and Scarlett seem like ploar opposites; Zooey seems like that excitement, that thrill, that unpredictable, reckless abandon Justin never had in his simple, straight forward life. I mean, that's like an 'adrenaline' rush figuratively...when it kicks in (and everything turns 'yellow' maybe) hehe there's no going back. haha. just my little take so far.
