Ok. I was NOT expecting that ending, especially the way the story began with her flirting with Justin. I love the build up, though. And the description of JC watching her.
Thanks for your feedback! I had fun writing this one. I wanted to show that married parents still have romance. 😀
I've always loved this series. Something about Justin as a single father. Especially now that he is a father. One of my favorite parts is when he tells the other guys in *NSYNC. Theyir reactions are priceless.
Another one is when he meets Riley for the first time and immediately knows she's his daughter. That first kiss between the two of them is precious.
I loved the Paris "date" and Mike teasing him afterwards. Because really how can it be a platonic night out when you're having dinner at the Eiffel Tower?
I love the writing, too. You did a great job with this Ally.
Ok, this story really tug at my heartstrings. I loved the connection that Alexa and JC had even before they knew they were father and daughter and how it grew as they got to know one another.
Oh, I looked up the lyrics to the songs you used, just in case you want to credit them. They're Daddy's Hands by Holly Gunn, Father's Eyes by Amy Grant, and Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle (One of my favorites).
I like the relationship of Justin and Mack. That she sees him as just Justin and not 'Justin Timberlake" and them reminising about when they were growing up. I'm sure those friendships are hard for him to find anymore so he cherishes the ones he still has.
My favorite part was when she asked him what his favorite movie was and he said Titanic. Her reaction to his serious response and his when she realized he'd faked it! It made me want to see it again.
My other favorite part was when they were talking about their first kisses and she led Justin to believe she wanted it to be him and the shock he got when she said she wanted it to be JC instead!
I read this yesterday and wanted to cry. I just read it again and feltthe wave of emtion wash over me. I never cry. (I still haven't. I'm just not a crier). Seriously, though, this tugged at my heartstrings. Mostly because I think that this is closer to the truth than we realize, meaning as much as the media likes to portray Justin as being estranged from the others, I don't think he is. I think they would drop everything for one another in times of need and this shows that. I hope that it wouldn't be as extreme as this, but with life you never know. This is a great example of showing that we shouldn't take our loved ones for granted and to make up with them before it's too late.
For my valensync, Ashley Loves JC!
After JC pushes back their wedding date again, Ashley has enough and breaks off the engagement.
I was worried how this one was going to end. I'm glad it had a happy ending.
While promoting her latest single on a late night show, a seemingly innocent game of Twenty Questions with the host leads to much more than Jax could ever have imagined.
Written for the It's Gonna Be May Challenge 2015
Oh yeah! I definitely need more! You can't just leave us hanging like that! How did Lance know? What happens after they meet? Do they collaborate with or without Beats? I need to know!
It took five days but JC wouldn't change his decision for the world.
i loved this story before and I love it even more now. The revisions make it even sweeter than it was before.
Aaah, thanks so much! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it two fold.
Did he write that song in his sleep?
I like this. It definitely brings new meaning to "writer's block".I loved the conversation between JC and his girlfriend (I'm assuming?) online and the artist once she arrives at the coffee house. It would be cool to have a follow up story where he finds her exhibit and goes in unnoticed, writes a song about it and leaves it for her to hear. Kind of like a cat and mouse game, where they keep missing each other. Just a thought.
That would be cute! Thanks for the idea!!
Christmas in August? Why not...
"She reminds me that I'm not alone..." It's Christmas time and Josh gives Justin a gift when he needs it most.
This story almost made me cty. It's like a mirror into JC and Justin's lives now and the bond they will undoubtedly share forever. I don't know how you managed to capture that, but you did.
Thank you!!!!!
