Hi!  Long time lurker of this site.  Decided to finally join and put up some of my ideas. Feel free to leave constructive criticism; I take it well and I appreciate the time spent to help me with my writing.

I hope you enjoy.

In a lot of my stories, you'll find an OC by the name of Annaleigh "Ace" Carr. Annaleigh is a feisty, guarded, but fun loving southern girl hailing from Clinton, Mississippi and childhood friends with none other than Lance Bass. You can follow her and Lance's journey in the "Cards" series.

Sequel to The Man Between Us

"When this whole world gets too crazy, and there's nowhere left to run, I know you give me sanctuary...you're the only truth I know, you're the road back home..."

Their speculative and brief reunion at the Video Music Awards brought on the unbelievable...now with their first new album in over ten years and a highly-anticipated reunion tour, NSYNC is riding high in pop music again.

But when one of their own disappears unexpectedly before the tour begins, the boys have more questions than they have answers for. Melissa is nowhere to be found, living a nightmare that none of them can even imagine. Tensions run high, and nobody knows how to go on with their lives - least of all Chris.

Awww, that flashback with Chris. Just the that conversation and the thought of Mel being pregnant by Derek breaks my heart.

I'm glad you updated! Great chapter.

Ha, I can tell you don't like Wade. But, it's awesome that Johnny gave her a job. Update whenever you can.

After a nasty break up, Lance is left feeling both completely powerless and useless. Unable to force himself to move on, he is convinced the only thing he can do is walk back into the relationship. That is, until he meets someone that can turn his entire life upside down. She's quirky and fun, but she's hiding something: a dark past, an uncertain present, and a doomed future. When she ends up feeling ways she never expected, secrets unravel. And she's not exactly who Lance was thought she was...

“Are you drunk?” he heard Joey’s voice reply. “What are you drinking? Whatever it is, stop it right now.”.......“Well, then there’s something in your coffee. ‘Cause I can’t even start to fathom why you would say you love that douchebag.”

-

Favorite line from Joey! Plus, it was a great opening. yay for Lance for leaving Tyler. I think you captured the whole, "he hurts me, but I love him so I can't leave him" mentality perfectly here. I also love how you showed Joey and Lance's friendship, too.

I didn't realize you had updated. Great chapter. The ending was great and really making me want to see what would happen next.

This was my favorite part:

“Ugh, ‘I’m fine’ from you is like ‘I’m fine’ from a girl. It means you’re actually not fine, and it’s really freaking confusing.”

“Compare me to a girl one more time, and you’re gonna be less than half the man that you used to be.”

Justin groaned. “Song references are off limits. Especially the album fillers.”

Great job.

Everyone's going to see Moulin Rouge, eh? Chris was so funny in this chapter and you've captured him well. Off to chapter 3

Author's Response: Then again, that movie was a tremendous hit. If you thought this chapter was funny, wait until you read chapter 3.

You're right, there aren't a lot of Chris stories so I'm glad you're writing this one. I'll admit Chris isn't my favorite of the group, but I'm really enjoying this story.

Can't wait to see more.

Author's Response: I always had a soft spot for the underdog. And like I said, it felt great to write a funny chapter for once.
