i started writing nsync fanfic in '98 so i'm like, way old school.
this is the home of my caffeine addicted, smut writing alter ego. i'm way less inappropriate in my real life. i like writing about jc. that voice, that face, and that vaguely enigmatic personality just do it for me.
Jax's career is still soaring and her friendship with JC is evolving but is it going to last? When she starts getting weird mesages and gifts from an unknown admirer, what wil she do?
so i have to admit that one of the disadvantages to being a beta is also one of the perks: i know some of what's coming next, so when i leave a review i have to be careful of not letting my future knowledge cloud my judgment of the current chapter. all that said...
jc, jc, jc. that was a slick little sexy move what with the neck kiss and the not so subtle hint of 'yeah, i totally hit that.'
beats got a little...wow. i feel really bad for jax because his reaction, while i knew he wouldn't be happy, was not what i expected.
cannot wait (no, seriously, i'm impatient as hell) for the next chapter. GET TO WRTING!

HAAAAAA! i love the title! it's perfect and i SWEAR i can see him looking just like you described in that last scene.
considering what each of them is feeling/thinking about the other, i'm just really excited to see them get closer.
i'm also really excited to see jax punch beats in the throat. that's an option, right?
JC is a bit skeptical about the sudden news about his girlfriend Rachel, only to find out that trust is a fragile thing.

I started out meaning to make it purely smutty and ended with this, rolling my eyes at myself *laughs* And yeah, his personality (or as I understand it), is important to me because he is so unique in ... well, anything. i love that you included some of your lyrics in the story. i used to do that frequently, and i have plenty of stories that also inspired me to write songs. it's amazing how artistic creation breeds further artistic creation.

also, there are a few topics i get very...uncomfortable with in fanfiction. they're potentially triggering and i find that a lot of people aren't capable of handling them with delicacy and nuance and...experience...they require. i know that sounds pretty obnoxious because who am i to tell someone what they can or cannot write about. all of that said, i'm very impressed with the way you've introduced charlie's self-harming. it's not heavy-handed or melodramatic. great job.
Wow, thank you for your response. It truly means a lot to me. I knew the subject of self harming could be a touchy one. The subject of mental health is one that I take very seriously. It's a part of Charlie that the readers need to know but it by no means defines her; it's one of the many layers of her. People who live with mental health issues can be productive, contributing members of society while navigating through their way through trying times. Okay, I went off on a tangent. My apologies. :)
You by no means came across as obnoxious and I again thank you for comments. I appreciate that you feel I have handled the subject respectfully.
