I love the imagery at the end of this chapter. While the subject matter is a deep, dark one, the imagery is beautifully sad. It truly captures the feeling and thought process of a traumatized rape victim.

It makes me a little shaky to think that this sort of thing actually happens in real life, and more often than we'd like to believe. I couldn't even begin to imagine what it must feel like to be abused in such a brutal way. Good story, it gives a different perspective on a terrible subject. You're making your readers reflect about things....
