I thought of something else. It was a line I delivered in a play. The man hid his illness from his family to protect him and they were angry that he "hid too well."
Author's Response: What play is that from? This story had actually been in my head for a while, it was just executing it.

Great chapter. I'm glad that he is going to call his mothers assuming he doesn't talk himself back out of it again.If only she'd been there this time. I also hope he doesn't continue to push abbey away.
