At first I thought Kirstin (did I spell that right?) was just being mean, but the more she talked the more I could relate to where she was coming from. There's only so long you can woo-woo and poo-poo someone when they're down, before you realize that being nice about it isn't helping them get past it. And then Justin goes riding off into the sunset to find her...I don't know how he's going though. But I'm sure you'll explain all that in due time. And it's also interesting how much her mother is still affecting her life now even though she's escaped her physically, maybe finding out about her mother's death will help her to escape her mentally and emotionally.
