I don't like the sound of that last line: "He had no idea that this identity would be just as filled with tragedy as the old one." He and his son had just witness the murder of their family and then their life is going to be filled with even more tragedy? Why can't it be filled with dancing leprechauns, rainbows and fluffy bunnies? *pout*
I am, however, looking forward to reading more - no matter how sad the story is looking to be - so please update soon. ^_^
