"Armand don't play with your food, eat it." Armand listened to his
father and finished stuffing his mouth with the chicken his father
expertly cut up for him. While Justin was in the studio putting the
finishing touches on his album up, he, Kristina, Armand and J went
out for lunch. "So you only have a few more days huh?"
"That I do, I actually can't wait."
"I wonder if it's a boy or a girl?"
"I don't know. I know its cliché but I only care if its healthy."
"I totally understand."
"Plus I'm sick of carrying this extra load. My stomach is so in the
way" she laughed.
"Well you look great extra load or not."
"Why thank you Mr. Carter. Here's another thing, steadily going to
the bathroom! I'll be right back."
"Ok." Nick helped Kristina out of her chair so she could go to the
bathroom. She had no clue that they were watching her. When she
walked into the bathroom they took the opportunity to get her.
"Ugh that feels so much better" she sighed. A happy bladder is an
empty bladder. Cleaning her hands she paid no attention to her two
guest that stood off to the side.
"Well hello there Mrs. Timberlake." Just when she thought she'd never
see those two bitches again.
"Well if it isn't twiddle dee and twiddle dumb, what brings you to a
fine eatery? I thought hos and scallywags only inhabited in the
gutters?"
"Oh funny, she's so funny" Ruby said sarcastically.
"Yeah I've been told that I'm full of jokes."
"Look enough of all that bitch, you stood in the way of everything
Ruby and I wanted. Every since that night Justin chose to be with us
and NOT YOU on Valentine's day he should've stayed with us. But
nooooo was just so determined to get his little midget back. He so
owed us! He owed us more than just a little roll in the hay. And just
when me and Rubes waited so long to get what was ours you had to
stick your little head back in ruin everything for us!"
"And now look at her, pregnant again like a damn cow."
"I wonder how Justin would feel if he knew his precious little wifey
was out with her ex-boyfriend?"
"You've got his number, call and tell him." Did they really think
that they intimidated her? Puhlease. "If you think I'm scared of
either one of ya'll, give me a break. You Veneska already had yo' ass
kicked not once, not twice but three times, do we really need to go
for four?"
"You actually think you could kick my ass with that big belly of
yours?"
"Wanna find out?" She didn't want to have to fight in such a delicate
state for fear that they might actually hurt her child but if they
wanted to bring it she'd do just that. Unfortunately that was what
they set out for. Quickly Ruby grabbed Kristina and held her arms
back. Kristina tried to fight with all her might but she held her
tighter. Then the unthinkable happened, as hard as she could Veneska
kneed her in the stomach sending her to the ground. Talk about the
pain! The kick sent a feeling through her body that she couldn't
describe. She tried to scream but the pain stopped her.
"Have fun with that bitch" Veneska laughed before she and Ruby left
out of the bathroom. Kristina wasn't sure how long she had been
laying there before she got any help. Someone walked in and found her
laying out on the tile of the bathroom.
"Oh my gosh! Ma'am, ma'am are you ok?" All she could do was shake her
head no. "I'm going to get you some help ok?" The woman ran out of
the bathroom to get help. Nick overheard that someone in the bathroom
had been hurt, which only meant one thing. Quickly he rushed to the
bathroom only to find Kristina doubled over.
"Kristina?! Kristina?! Oh my gosh…" Nick looked over her, trying to
figure out what was wrong when he got another surprise--her water
broke. "Oh my gosh." An EMS truck pulled up to the hospital to rush
her to the hospital. By now she could mumble a few words. "What did
you say Kristina?" She mumbled something again but he couldn't hear
her so he put his ear down next to her mouth. "Say again Kristina."
"Veneska….Ruby, call Justin."
"Ok I will, I will. You just hang on ok?" All the while this was
happening, Justin was recording a song that he had written for his
wife.

"Yo J, gotta a call!" Justin pulled his headphones off and walked out
to grab the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Justin, its me Nick. You need to come down to Botsford, Kristina
just went into labor."
"WHAT?! I'm on my way!!"
"Wait that's not the only thing."
"What? What is it?"
"Veneska and Ruby cornered her up in the bathroom, punched her in the
stomach. I guess that induced labor, but I called the police before
we came to the hospital. They have them in custody for right now just
to let you know."
"Man do I owe you."
"Yeah yeah, just get here!"
"I'm on my way."

Kristina's painful yell was enough to break glass. When she hit her
in the stomach she hit the mess out of her. That in turn increased
the pain that went along with the contractions. Nick was trying to do
everything he could to comfort her but nothing was working. Even the
medicine they administered hadn't done much of anything. Plus with
rushing to the hospital with her, he had to keep an eye on Armand.
"We came as soon as we could" Krystal rushed in along with Lance and
Chris. They were shocked to hear from Nick let alone the news of what
Veneska and Ruby had done. Whenever they could get a chance they were
going to have to give a statement but that'd have to wait.
"J.C. and Dez are on their way here."
"Ok" she nodded nervously.
"Want me to take him for you?" Chris asked Nick. Not only was he
holding Armand in one arm, he was holding onto Kristina's hand in
which she had a death grip on.
"Please." Chris lifted the little guy of his hands. "Thanks." Now
this was a sight for music fans to see. Another painful contraction
came along, causing Kristina to grip once again on Nick's hand. Lance
knew exactly how he felt. After that beating Krystal gave him,
Ephraim was probably going to be an only child. Nick's cheeks were
flushed with red from pain.
"Where in the hell is Justin?!" Kristina screeched.
"This cannot be happening!" There stuck in rush hour LA traffic,
Justin was having a hissy fit. His wife was having a baby, a freaking
baby!! Blowing his horn wasn't working, it was back to back. Both
Justina and J were born in less than 2 hours and so far they were
going on an hour and a half. Maybe this time it would be different,
maybe not but he was for sure on was that he needed to get to the
hospital now!
"Alright Mrs. Timberlake its time" Dr. Meadows smiled.
"But my husband isn't here yet."
"Well I don't think he or she is going to wait hon."
"Ok….ok.."
"Well what's going to happen?" Nick asked.
"We're going to take her to the OR, get her prepped and ready to get
this little one out of her." Nick looked back at the door once more
hoping that Justin would come in.
"Nick, please don't leave me" she pleaded. Though he and Kristina
were pretty good friends, he wasn't sure if going into the delivery
room was a good idea. It could be his child but she was still another
man's wife.
"Kris--"
"AHHHHHH!!" she screamed again in agony.
"We need to get this baby out of her now." Nick looked back once
more, still no sign of Justin.
"Ok, ok, let's go." Nick scrubbed up along with the staff while Dr.
Meadow's got everything ready for the delivery. Nick returned to
herself and took her hand. "You're gonna be ok Kristina."
"Ugh, it hurts so much!"
"I know, I know, but it'll be over soon." Justin was out of breath
when he came running into the hospital. He couldn't wait any longer,
risking to gather a ticket by driving down the shoulder to get to the
hospital.
"Dude you made it just in time, she just went in the OR" J.C. said
approaching him.
"Alright, thanks man." Justin rushed to the OR only to find someone
already by her side, Nick.
"Mr. Timberlake made it in the nick of time" the doctor said no pun
intended. Justin with the help of one of the nurses scrubbed up so he
could join his wife. Nick was about to leave but Kristina stopped him.
"Where exactly do you think you're going?!"
"I uh--"
"Don't even think about it!" she growled holding on to his and
Justin's hand.
"You're going to want to see a doctor about that hand later on"
Justin laughed. He knew he was going to see one too because that grip
she had on both of their hands were going to do some damage.
"Alright Kristina I see it a coming, so give me a big push ok, on the
count of three. One…….two…..three, go!" Now Nick saw what Justin
meant about seeing a doctor. How could one person posses so much
strength? Let alone that much strength in her hand? "On more time,
one….two….three, go!" All three screamed in pain, Kristina from the
birth, Justin and Nick from her. "Alright one more should do it, here
go, one….two….three, go!" And that was that, the little baby's cries
filled the room from being separated from its mother. Everyone gave a
sigh of relief. "Come on daddy, come and cut his cord" she smiled.
"He?"
"Yes he" Dr. Meadows said. Justin and Nick looked at each other. Who
was going to do it?" Nick motioned for him to go on and finish it up.
Boy was he a screamer. Justin proudly cut the umbilical cord of the
little baby boy. This had to be his son, it just had too. The love
that spread through his body from simply looking at him made him so
joyful.
"Wanna hold him mommy?"
"Yeah" she sighed. Kristina held her son in her arms. He was just a
crying his little eyes out. Must've liked it in that stomach of
hers. "Hey little fella, hey. Oh my little baby…" She looked down at
him in wonder. They were so caught in the moment they hadn't paid
any attention to the nurse that wanted to clean him off or Nick that
stood by.
"Well mommy can we clean him off?"
"Oh I'm sorry, yes of course." Kristina handed the baby over to the
nurse where he was all cleaned up for his parents.
"There you go little guy" she smiled down at him. The nurse carried
him back to Kristina who was happy to hold him once more. But then
she remembered…
"Nick, do you want to hold him? I mean there is still the
possibility…"
"Um yeah, yeah" Nick took the little boy in his arms. He was so tiny
and long! This one was going to be tall! He felt the little boys soft
skin and kissed his forehead. "Hey little guy."
"Can we come in?" J.C. asked poking his head into the door.
"Yeah sure, come on in." J.C., Dez, Lance, Krystal, Kelly, Chris,
Joey and Donovan. They all looked in awe at the little infant in
Nick's arms. "Well hello there little guy!" Everyone took a chance on
holding the little boy. He was so adorable! But there was still the
matter of who the father was. Nick was in the room, so was Justin.
While Kristina was getting some sleep the doctor took the opportunity
on getting what she needed for the paternity test. If Justin got his
mouth swabbed one more time he'd go bonkers.
"Alright guys that's about it, we'll know in two days."
"Alright." Justin and Nick got up from the office and walked into the
hall where for the first time since earlier that day when Kristina
had the baby.
"So….if this um, if this comes out to be either one of ours I just
wanted to uh let you know there's no hard feelings you know?"
"Yeah same here, we'll find some way to make it work out you know."
"Definitely."

Kristina couldn't get enough of holding her son. Justina, Alesha and
J were all in amazement of their brand new baby brother. She hadn't
named him yet since she hadn't received the news of which was the
father of her son. She didn't want to name it something after her or
Justin in case it was Nick's so she held off. Today she would get the
answer. Sitting in between Justin and Nick once more with him in her
arms, Dr. Meadow's opened the manila envelop that contained the
answer of his paternity.
"Well as we all know a paternity test was given to both Mr.
Timberlake and Mr. Carter for this small child. I have the results
right here…." Nick, Justin and Kristina's heart was beating so fast
it could pop through their chests. "Well the father of the baby is…..."
