‘Oh Poppy come on get over it’ Lavender knocked on my door

‘Get over it I've never been so embarrassed in my whole life did you see what happened out there…never mind you recorded’.

‘I'll erase it right now’ I heard the Velcro being pulled and clanging of the camcorder I opened the door frightening Lavender

‘Give it here’ I said before taking it out of her hand and slamming door shut instead of doing what any other human being would like throw it away I jumped up getting my shoe box fill with things and chucked it in there before plunging myself onto my bed.

The contents of the box I will reveal later. So what happened Rose went she wasn’t going to miss the chance after I threw my dress Rose took it and put it on it was hers originally. Bitch I know but it was hers and that’s the way she functions.

Even after dad came back I didn’t come out of my room till I had fully gotten over the whole thing

‘Poppy what's the matter?’ he asked his face full of concern I wasn’t the daughter to get upset

‘Oh you know dad school’ I lied

‘As long as it's just school’ see I can't worry about anything else unlike Lavender and Rose who cry if they have a zit or break up with their countless boyfriends.

‘Yeah it is’ I forced a smile

‘That’s my girl’ he hugged me then went off. I spun round to the door opening catching Rose and Lavender about to walk out guilt faces dear me

‘Poppy hey we were just going out to the movies wanna come’ Rose asked smiling a bit too much at me

‘No it's okay’ I could see the hint of relief on their faces it didn’t make me upset I’ve learnt that my sisters are sometimes stupid and underestimate my knowledge, I've learnt to get over things quickly.

‘Poppy my sunflower’ the cool calm relaxing voice made me smile instantly her voice made it seem like everything was okay that voice was my mother.

‘Mom’ I cried running to hug her my parents have partially split, I think they're just going through a little something

‘Hey precious’ she always made it feel like you were her one, her favourite

‘I miss you’ I smiled goofily 

‘Same here honey’ she kissed my forehead rubbing my cheek

‘You go out whilst I talk to your dad okay’ she looked at me those eyes saying I love you loads I nodded and played outside in my tree house it's not what you think well it sort of is. I'm too old for one I am but it's my getaway to read books and stuff, just like the study where I wouldn’t be disturbed except for when Lavender and Rose hide their boyfriends in there or do over rated stuff.

What my parents did I would never know until a few years later.

Mom called me back in and I told her everything I waited for any kind of response and do you want to know what it was a laugh a laugh which bought joy to her face, thankfully it wasn’t an evil laugh but a kind one.

There and then I was over it even when Rose called him up and talked to him for hours I don’t know what about, I'm not complaining well maybe a little but it's not like I would receive a phone call unless it's a prank.

The next night I had the house to myself I was covering for Rose and Lavender my typical Saturday night watching x rated movies… joking the most I've seen is animals mating and my parents kissing my mom and dad made me skip sex education. So really I watched Charmed my over favourite programme.

So whilst it was an advert Beejees came on of course the excitement bubbled over me and I began belting the words until it became calm and really good.

‘Hello’ a voice whispered right behind me

‘Dear lord how did you get in?’ I asked frightened at him right behind my hair which is still wet I must look like a freak and I can see him wiping water from his face in disgust.

‘Door was opened’ he mumbled’ I sat there shocked what if a strange man came in

‘What, never, I locked it’ I told him moving my body right away from his only for him to think I was giving him space to sit next to me.

‘I came through the back sorry I thought someone was in pain’ referring to my singing he smirked carrying on ‘until I realised it was you just singing’ he remained smiling making me feel really uncomfortable I noticed Charmed was on so I did my utter best to get rid of him quickly’

‘Well you would know all about singing Mickey mouse boy’ I don’t know what came over me actually I do my family know not to disturb my charmed time

‘You have quite the attitude missy’ he pointed out

‘Only to people who have forced entry to people homes but what can I help you with?’ obviously he was here cause he wanted something

‘I Rose here?’ he asked to stopped myself from rolling my eyes

‘No she's out’ I answered diverting my eyes to the TV set

‘That’s not why I came’ my head shot to him why did he come then I found myself staring at him

‘What is?’ I whispered

‘I umm found out you thought I invited you so I came to apologise I saw you had made an effort and I uh I apologise’ he smiled

‘Are you stopping yourself from laughing, I’m not allowed boys-I mean people here

‘That’s okay I like your voice’

‘Thanks’

‘Umm well I better go petals’ I role my eyes very annoyed

‘It's Poppy’ I corrected him annoyed

‘I know’ he left the house without looking back I stood up to look into the mirror at my red cheeks and droplets of water on my forehead what a loser.

‘Poppy you still up’ first to arrive is Lavender

‘Yeah it was a double bill’ I'm fifteen and they think I'm not allowed up after 10

‘That silly witch thing’ she makes it sound like a cartoon

‘How was your date’ I quickly changed the question I knew she would instantly forget and enter her world all about Lavender.

‘It was boring he took me bowling like I haven’t been there enough times’ no no Lavender isn’t a gold digger she may seem it but she really does like to get to know the guy.

‘Justin came by’ I mumbled

‘Apologise then’ she sounded posh just then or stuck up either one then it hit me

‘You told him’

‘You were really upset babe’ I hate it when she calls me that really makes me feel like a pig

‘He's probably laughing at what a joke I am’

‘He wouldn’t have apologised then and anyway no one laughs at my sister I thought I made it better I'm sorry’ if only she knew how many people think I'm a comedy show but I couldn’t stay mad could you I just sighed and hugged her

‘No what is it?’ I force it out of her obviously

‘Did you want to come out with us?’

‘No’ I shook my head that would be embarrassing my sisters

‘Oh Poppy you should get out more you know instead of sitting around here’ the whining and whingeing never too old

‘I'm okay thank you’

‘If you say oh Rose is having her party here’

‘No’ I screamed

‘It will be great to meet new people make new fresh friends’ did she not hear the scream

‘I have friends’ It wasn’t a total lie I had friends in my favourite lessons

‘Poppy next weekend big pool party yeah’

‘I'm inviting a few friends from my year you invite your friends’

‘They're busy’

‘Well you don’t know unless you tell them’ she went off upstairs and that was it come next weekend everyone was is going to find me a complete utter loser

‘Justin is invited you tell him kay’ she shouted why did I have to tell him he won't come then and my sisters will just be annoyed GREAT.
