Author's Notes:
A story request for Jorie. And my fist J.C story hope you like it. Please review.
Does the saying it could get worse be any more true. Just watching them go past with their perfect lives makes me sick. Stuck up people are rotten. Especially the women they prance around in their new Gucci summer dresses brought by their rich nowhere to be seen husbands and act as if they are happy. God everyone knows the women down this road are lonely with nobody but the house car and kids and maybe a vibrator with a pack of batteries to satisfy themselves.

Your probably wandering well why am I here well my mother was one of these and eventually my father came home but women always stick together. Somehow I was forced in taking my little brother to one of the kids parties. Of course no men are ever found at these events all to scared for the women to charge at them for a hand in marriage oh yes if a man has spare time to take a family member to a party he is fit to be a stay home father.

So that’s why I'm so drawn into the man who just arrived giving the small boy the do’s and don’ts about what to do the small boy just nods his head when he knows it's appropriate but is still looking round the big garden. Eventually the man lets him go chuckling softly. As he watched him run away until he was not seen. He sighed rubbing his hands together and smile at anyone his eye caught looking at him then came me I didn’t get a smile I got a wave and a smile. I smiled back then tuned away embarrassed.

I avoided the area where he was standing, an simply watched the kids play. The sun was really bright so when it became dark I shot my head up to the man standing over me

‘Hey I'm Joshua’ he introduced himself smoothly
‘Jorie’ I answered shaking his hand
‘Hey Jorie is this seat taken?’
‘No go ahead’ I pointed to the seat opposite me I spun round on my chair to face him

‘Jorie is there any chance there will be any men here?’ I cocked my head to one side he cant be serious
‘In Orlando yeah, in this road no, but if you mean this house hell no’ he laughed gently
‘Thanks I knew it would be a bad idea’
‘You’re a brave guy are you looking for a bride?’ I asked entwining my hands together
‘No why
‘You've come to the perfect place’ I waved a hand around me motioning to all the women
‘Have I, and by any chance are you looking for a groom?’ his question threw me right off balance I took a deep breath and finally answered

‘Me no I actually have a life’ I answered with slight attitude
‘Who are here with?’
‘My younger sister my mom used to be one of those’ I pointed in disgust my eyebrows knitted together and my face screwed up
‘You really don’t like them’
‘Do you’ I quickly countered

‘I don’t like feeling that I'm the last fish on the fish market’
‘Ah good comparison’
‘Thank you, so how do you remain sane?’
‘My mother was one so I lived with it everyday, so what's your connections?’
‘ My little nephew is school friends but I was tricked, my sister told me there would be a barbecue and someone I should know called J.B who could look after me but I guess she's not here’ my mouth fell open

‘What is she here?’ he asked whilst he looked round left and right
‘Who are you?’ I asked sceptically
‘Joshua’
‘So your not J.C’
‘Well I am’ realisation hit me
‘Your sister must be Kelly’
‘Yeah how do you know?’
‘I’m J.B I thought J.C was a girl you sister being K.C’.

‘I guess she doesn’t talk about me much’
‘No she says she can't, but I can see why’ I told I'm looking him up and down
‘You can’
‘Yes, I'm not going to scream it out it was a realisation that you are a famous singer’
‘So what does your b stand for’
‘Blake’ I informed him
‘Ok come on Jorie you are meant to be showing me round’
‘Well what you doing on your bum then’ I stood up feeling this afternoon would go better as planned.

20 minutes later of introducing Josh to everyone we got bored, it was just 3 and he was bored, poor guy.
‘Jorie this party is going to be on for at least another 3 hours do you wanna head out?’
‘Yeah sure I'll do everything to get out of here’

‘Good thing I came’
‘Whatever’ I tossed my long wavy brown hair to one side of my neck I noticed how J.C was looking at me with his brows knotted together.

‘What sup is there a problem?’
‘No you just surprise me slightly I thought you being K.C friend you would be annoying and immature like her’
‘Oo Josh you shouldn’t judge a book by it's cover and anyway I'm 3 years older than your sister Kelly’ I answered matter of factly tone.
‘So how do you know each other?’ he asked confused
‘Groups came together’ I showed him with my hands

‘Your groupie wouldn’t be the ones that got her dating that no good for nothing Jason that got her pregnant’
‘Ha we’re the groupie that helped her through it all’ I laughed throwing my head back
‘Good if I ever lay my hands on that Stacey’ he hand his hands looking like he would strangle someone I bought them down with my own
‘Sorry Josh I beat you to it and she left town time ago’

‘Good anyway enough of this where you wanna go?’
‘Your car’
‘How about the park?’
‘Sounds cool’

The car journey was definitely the cause for us to be linking arms laughing in the park eating ice cream cones.

He leans over to whisper something in my ear and I respond laughing loudly he again whispers something in my ear and I softly push him away from him still shrieking with laughter.

I licked off the last bit of caramel ice cream smiling enjoying the taste
‘Damn and I wanted some’
‘Sorry’
‘You won't have to if you let me have some‘ his eyes were twinkling and his blue eyes were shining
‘It's finished’ he stared at my lips, my eyes felt like they popped out but quickly jumped back in he leaned in his head dipping slightly my breath caught in my throat it felt like a frog was stuck so I just stood there as he kissed my lips softly he slowed the sweet kiss down probably since I was not returning it. I moved my lips gently against I dropped the empty cone to wrap my arms round him stroking his hair as he stroked mine. I pulled away smiling.

‘What was that for?’
‘You finished your ice cream before I could try it’
‘Did you get enough?’
‘No I think I will though’ he leaned in again and I went straight into returning the sweet tasteful kiss.

‘Jorie before we go too far I wanna tell you something‘ I rolled my eyes pissed I had just kissed him now
‘I knew it was too good to be true your in love’
‘I'm in love in love with music’ he just smiled after he corrected me
‘Oh’
‘I don’t think I have to tell you what comes along with being involved with me’
‘No you don’t J’
‘I like you’
‘Wow don’t beat around the bush’ I said bashfully as I blushed
‘That bush has been beaten too many times’ I giggled softly
‘Well I have to give you points for coming out with that’

‘You better’ I rolled my eyes slowly
‘I guess we better head back to that house’
‘That is the correct words Josh’ he captured my lips right out of the blue

‘Can this day get any better’ Josh whispered in my ear

It can get much better’

Can the saying the day could get better be anymore true? I dunno you tell me.
