Chapter 3 

AT THE AIRPORT

“Flight number 1245 to Memphis, Tennessee will be boarding in 5 minutes” the announcer lady came on and my mom, sister, and I started to make our way to gate.  After I got on the plane I put on my Kelly Clarkson CD in and closed my eyes.

“Wake up, Alexa, we are about to board” My mother shook me

“Okay, okay, geez if I was an infant you would be out in jail for shaken a baby” I just looked at her

“Hahaha very funny now get up”

It only seemed like it was 10 minutes, but the flight was 2 hours long, we got off the plane and I saw this man with brown hair glasses, Jon I’m guessing. Next thing I know I see my mom ran at him….yup Jon. I have to hand it to her though I thought that he would be a husky man with long her and warts all over is face, but no is was in shape, surprising.

“Jon, this is my daughter’s and soon her step daughters, Alexa and Lizzie” My mom smiled at him, and introducing him, Lizzie was excited to see him, me, well I was a little heist. 

“Hi, I’m Lindsay, but you can call me Lizzie” She step in front of me to shake his hands

“And you must be Kristina right?” He looked at me

“It’s Alexa and yea that’s me” I said a little annoyed at the fact he called me Kristina

“Okay, well Alexa, I have your guys bags alright so we can go to the car and we can get you guys settled in.” He said while walking away

It was very quiet in the car, which was nice, until he had to open his mouth

“Alexa, how are you?” He looked at me through the rare view mirror

“17” I said not wanted to answering the question

“Well, I don’t know if your mom told you this but I have and 17 year old daughter too.” He said

“Great” now stop asking me questions I thought to myself, but I guess my mom knew what I was thinking and gave me the look, you know the mom look.

We got to there house and it was huge it could have eaten my house in NC.  Lizzie loving it she was all yea I got a new daddy, yea I got a big, and blah blah blah. I walked I and I was in awe I mean it was nice, we never lived like this before. I was stilling lookin around and didn’t notice this girl with burette hair, with a red shirt and a blue jean shirt running down stairs. I quickly snapped out of it.

“Hello, I’m Keely” she stuck out her hand wanting to shake mine

“Hi, I’m Alexa” I shook her hand

“Hi, and I am Lizzie” bubbly girl said from behind me came out and wanted to shake her hand also.

“Hi” she looked down at my sister

“Well, while my father brings your stuff in ill show you guys our room” she said with a smile and all bubbly too.

Great there going to be two of them here wonderful

“Alexa this is your room” she said introducing me to my room. I walked in and I like it, it was big bigger than my room in NC

“Where is my room” Lizzie said

“Oh this way”

Keely and Lizzie left. There was already a bed and a dresser in the room. I walked down stairs to start getting my suitcase and some boxes that we could take on the plane. In a week is when all my stuff gets here. I got 2 boxes and my suitcase with me and started to unpack. Well I guess I’m really living here, I thought to myself.

“Hey, me and Jon are going to go get some pizza do you want to come?” my mom asked while popping her head in the door way.

“No, I think I’m going to start unpacking my things.” I said, and a plastered a smile on my face

“Okay Lizzie is coming with us” she said to let me know

“Okay” I said turning around looking at my stuff, thinking of where I’m going to put this stuff, then I notice a boom box in the corner  I picked it up and plugged it in to see if it worked and when I noticed that it did I out the radio on.  I was in my known world when I looked out the window and I saw this guy.  He was so beautiful, I could see in his room, and he was getting dressed for something. He had brown hair it looked like it was curly but I couldn’t really tell. For some reason I couldn’t take my eyes off of him, I was staring at him, and I didn’t notice that Keely had walked in.

“Justin” She said at the door way

I jumped knocking over my suitcase on the floor making a noise so loud that he could hear and he looked over at the window. I looked away and looked at her

“I’m sorry I should have knocked or something” she came over a helped me

Damn right I thought “ No, its ok, what did you say?” I said while on the floor putting up my clothes

“Justin” she pointed to the window “ his hot I know so does every girl at Rosewood” she giggled

“I don’t know what you’re talking about?” I said trying to cover it up

“Okay whatever you say, pizza here” she said while walking out the room
