Chapter 8
The next day it is the day of the American Music Awards. While the guys are at last minute rehearsals Katie and Lynn are helping Jen get ready. Later while Jen is getting ready Lynn says
“ Are you nervous or excited”
“A little bit of both”
Later after Jen has her hair done Katie and Lynn say “ you gorgeous”
“ Thanks now where is Justin at?”
As soon as Jen said that she hears a knock on the door and Lynn answers it.
“ Hi mom is Jen ready?”
“ Yep Jen come on out"
When Jen comes out Justin says
“ Jen you’re beautiful and stunning”
“ Thanks you look handsome as well”
“ I got to take a picture of this” Katie says
“ Katie we do not need a picture there will pictures all over the T.V tomorrow anyway”
“ C’mon Jen just one picture” Justin says.
“ Ok fine”
After they get there picture taken Justin says
"Mom can I tell you something really important outside in the hallway”
So Justin and Lynn go out into the hallway
“ What is it?”
“ Well ever since I broke up with Britney I have falling in love with someone else”
“ Oh honey I’m happy for you who is it?”
“ It’s Jen” Lynn says, “ When are you going to say to her I love you”
“ Tonight at some point”
After Lynn and Justin finish-talking go back into the room
“ Ok Jen it’s time to go “
“ Ok bye Katie watch for me on T.V.”
“Ok I well bye Jen”
When Jen and Justin get downstairs they get into the limo with the other guys and their dates.
“ Hi Jen you look gorgeous”
“ Thanks Kelly so do you’’
Kelly is Joey’s girlfriend.
When the limo stops in front of Staples Center the guys get out and have there pictures taking on the red carpet.
One of the reporters asks Justin “ who is your date”.
Justin says this is my best friend Jen”
Once they get to their seats and the show starts Jen says “Justin thanks for taking me here tonight”.
Of course the first award presented is best pop group and N’sync wins.
After the awards show the rest of the guys went to the pressroom while Justin and Jen headed out to the limo.
Once they are in the limo Justin says “ Jen I have something important to you’’.
“ Ok what is it?”
“ Ever since I broke up with Britney I have fallen in love with someone else and that someone is you Jen I love you”.
