Chapter 6
At Jenny's house...
"We are homes, people." Leah flung the front door open. "Jenny, I'm gonna take a shower, okay?"
"Sure." Jenny and Justin walked into the house while JC and Mandi entered the room.
"Hi...bye." Leah jogged up the stairs.
"Someone is feeling ALOT better." JC commented.
"I know. You should see her dance. Moving your body like Leah does, should be illegal."
"And Wade made them dance together. I wonder why?" Jenny glared at Mandi.
"Wade! As in our Wade?" JC asked.
"Ya, he said that Leah and Jenny should dance in a video."
"What about Mandi?" JC wrapped his arm around her.
"She's not really the dancing type."
"Mandi dances great. Well she does with me." JC smiled.
"JC, shut up." She giggled in his ear.
"What are the rest of the guys doing?" Justin asked.
"Joey and Chris are playing video games and Lance is listening to music. JC lets go join him." Mandi tugged on JC's shirt.
"We're coming, too."
35 minutes later...
"I'm gonna check on Leah." Justin stood up.
"Okay."
"Because I know she doesn't usually take so long in the shower."
"Okay."
"I'm just gonna make sure she's okay, nothing else."
"Okay, nothing else."
"Okay."
"Check on her, my fat ass, more like check her out." Joey commented.

"Leah? Where are you?" He turned into a room on his left. Empty. Then he turned into a room on his right. Leah had just finished putting on her shirt over her head. Justin stared at her from the doorway.
"Justin!" Leah jumped. "What are you doing here?"
"You were taking so long, I decided to come and check on you."
"Okay, you can come in."
"Okay, thanks." He walked in.
"Justin," He turned to look at her. "How are we suppose to act around each other?"
"What do you mean?" He asked, watching the sad expression on her face.
"We went out for two years and a half, TWO years and A HALF Justin and then you dump me and move away. I get a total of one letter, 0 calls, and 4 emails within 11 months."
"I am really sorry we broke up but did you honestly wanna try a long distance relationship?" Leah remained silent. "Oh God, you did? I am so sorry."
"Well I would have tried the long distance thing but I guess it wasn't my choice."
"If we did stay together, it would have hurt more Leah, I didn't want that."
"I know." Leah sat down on the sofa.
"You seem sad. How can I make it better?" Justin sat down and put his arm around her.
"You can sing to me. Like you used too," Leah lowered her voice, “when we were together."
"Why don't you sing to me, I love your voice?"
"Fine Justin, we'll do a duet."
"How about 'Music of your Heart' "?" Justin suggested.
"Nah, I didn't like it much.” She joked knowing N*Sync sang it. “How about 'Where You Are'? By Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey."
"But he's ugly. I wanna be hot." Justin joked. “You get to be Jessica Simpson she pretty hot."
"Okay, you can be Jessica, I'll be Nick." Leah laughed.
"But now you’re not attractive and everyone knows that’s not true." Leah blushed.
"Okay, I'll be Leah and you can be Justin."
"Now were both hot."
"I can tell fame has made your ego bigger."
"Hey." Justin acted offended. "Let’s start." When the song finished Leah snuggled close to Justin on the sofa and hugged him.
"I've missed you Justin."
"I've missed you too," Justin kissed her forehead, “So much."
"Will you do me a favor?"
"Anything."
"Sing me our song, please."
"What was it again, I forget?" He joked.
"You know what it is. Please Justin."
Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane
I hear your voice on the line
But it doesn't stop the pain
If I see you next to never
How can we say forever
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I took for granted, all the times
That I though would last somehow
I hear the laughter, I taste the tears
But I can't get near you now
Oh, can't you see it baby
You've got me goin' crazy
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
I wonder how we can survive
This romance
But in the end if I'm with you
I'll take the chance
Oh, can't you see it baby
You've got me goin' crazy
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
I will be right here waiting for you
Whatever it takes
Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you
"Thank you." She kissed his cheek. Justin just stared at her. "Sorry, old habit kissing you after you sang to me, but I normally wouldn't kiss you on the cheek," she kept rambling, "I would kiss your---" Justin kissed her lightly on the lips then pulled away slowly. "--lips."
"I'm sorry, Leah." Justin started to get up.
"Don't Justin." She grabbed his shirt and slowly pulled him down, lowering himself on her. They just stared at each other. "Kiss me, Justin."
The song is called ‘Right Here Waiting’ by Richard Marx.
