"Stop fidgeting."
"I'm not fidgeting."
"Yes you are, she's going to love you she already does!"
"Yeah ok."
"I'm serious, you two already get along."
"I know but now we're meeting face to face. I've taken her boy away
from her! She's probably gonna really hate me, its different when
you're on the phone!" Kristina continued to ramble until they pulled
up to Justin's mother's home in right outside of Memphis.
"We're here."
"Oh Lordy" she whispered to herself. Justin got out and ran over to
her side of the car to open the door. Kristina fixed her clothes as
she stepped out.
"Chill ok?" He could see that she wasn't going to, so he leaned in
and kissed her. The kiss started to get out of control. Where she was
tense, she slowly calmed down.
"If ya'll gon' start making me some grandbabies, can you at least do
it in here where its warm?" There goes the embarrassment. Justin
grabbed Kristina's hand and walked up the steps. "Hey baby."
"Hey ma how are you?"
"I'm great." Justin kissed his mother and gave her a hug. "Now here
is my future daughter in law. My oh my you're even more beautiful in
person." Justin's mother snatched Kristina up and gave her this hug
that only a mother could give.
"How are ya Kristina?"
"I'm good Mrs. Harless."
"Girl I said call me Lynn."
"Ok" she sighed.
"Now ya'll get in here before you catch your death." They both walked
in from the cold and got situated. Kristina was introduced to Paul,
Jonathon and Stephen who she fell instantly in love with.
"She's nervous" Justin told his mother.
"Why?"
"She thinks that she's not worthy of me or something because she's
not a singer or something which is far form the truth. I love her ma."
"I know baby."
"She wants to impress you so much."
"She already does."
"I know, I just don't know how to get through to her."
"I'll talk to her in the morning, so we can have some alone time."
"Thanks." Justin gave his mother a kiss before heading up to
Jonathon's room. You could hear him all the way downstairs laughing.
They must've been really having a good time.
"Aw man so that's how you play! Its been awhile Johnny boy. I haven't
played this game since I was your age."
"Wow that was a long time ago!"
"Yeah cuz I'm an old lady."
"Yeah my old lady" Justin smiled. "What are you guys doing?"
"Playing Candyland!!"
"Sounds like fun."
"Wanna play?"
"No actually its your bedtime."
"Aw man."
"Aw man, come on Jonathon." Justin helped get him ready for bed.
Kristina had the honors of reading his bedtime story and boy he was
out like a light. They sort of just stayed there for a moment and
watched him sleep.
"How many of those do you want?"
"What kids?"
"Yeah."
"I don't know, how ever many you want to have."
"None! Psyche, I never pinpointed a number but I've always wanted a
big family."
"Lucky me huh?" Justin smiled.
"Ha ha, yes."
"Well as soon as we get married we better start working on that."
"You are too much, you know that Timberlake?"
"Yes I know that future Mrs. Timberlake."

"Good morning ya'll" and she thought her grandma's accent was thick.
Kristina and Justin came into the kitchen and joined her stepfather
and brothers. She tried to help but Lynn told her over and over again
that she was a guest and if anything sitting back and relaxing would
help her more. For some odd reason all her nervousness subsided and
she began to talk more and more with Lynn and Paul. She and Stephen
had a few words but he loosened up later during play time. She and
Jonathon hit off right at the bat. Right now he and Stephen were
styling her hair so she could look like a movie star as they said
while Thanksgiving dinner was underway. Might as well kill some time
before the football game right?
"How's it looking guys?"
"Fabulous!" She could feel her hair all over the place. "All done!"
"Ok." Kristina stood up and looked in the mirror. What inner organ
was that that was hurting so bad from holding in the laughter? "It
looks great guys!"
"YAY!!"
"Now what are ya'll doing in here?"
"Making Kristina look like a movie star."
"Oh really, that's great hun. Why don't you fellas go down there and
help your daddy get ready for the game ok?"
"Ok." The two little ones left giving Lynn and Kristina a chance to
laugh.
"Oh goodness, what kind of movie would hair like that would be in?"
"Dune?" she laughed.
"Possibly, here let me help you." Lynn helped Kristina take her hair
down and smooth it back to how it was before. "Well they're getting
ready down there and I know you want to see the game so I'll make
this quick." Uh oh, here we go, this was when Lynn was going to tell
her that she didn't want her son marrying her and then she'd throw
her out on her duff right? "Come in here with me ok?"
"Ok." Lynn grabbed Kristina's hand and carried her to the den
upstairs. They plopped down on the brown leather couch.
"I want to talk to you…"
"Ok."
"Honey you're shaking, don't worry ok?"
"I'll try not."
"Why are you so nervous honey?"
"Honestly I don't know."
"No?"
"I guess its because I just don't want to be a disappointment."
"Honey you aren't a disappointment. I thank God everyday he sent
someone like you to Justin. You're so human and down to earth unlike
all those other girls he's brought home. I'm proud of him, I really
am. There's no need to be nervous ok?"
"Ok."
"But um there's something else I wanted to talk to you about."
"Alright."
"Um, I know Justin wouldn't tell me something like this so I hope you
don't mind me asking. If I'm being too nosey them let me know ok?"
"Alright."
"Alright, well its about Justin and his sex life." Kristina's eyes
grew wide. "I just want to know if he's protecting you and himself…"
she could tell Kristina was a little uneased by the
conversation. "I'll stop, I'm sorry. Its just you two aren't married
yet and if you're not prepared for children, don't get me wrong I'd
love to have some grandbabies as soon as possible but--"
"I'm still a virgin." Immediately Lynn stopped talking. "And I don't
plan on having sex with Justin until we're married."
"So you all….?"
"Nope." Yeah here comes the kick to the curb.
"HONEY THAT'S GREAT!!!" Lynn grabbed Kristina and held her so
tight. "But I hope you don't think that's the reason why we're
getting married is it?"
"No, he knew about everything the first week we met. I know the
engagement is pretty fast but I really don't think there's anyone
else I could love like your son."
"Oh honey, you're gonna make me cry!"
"Oh no don't do that" she laughed.
"TOUCHDOWN LIONS!!!!" Most of the men in the room grumbled. The
Greenbay Packers were actually losing much to their dislike. Where
was Kristina? She'd love this. Justin got up from the couch and went
looking for her. When he got to the hall upstairs he could hear
laughing from back room.
"Hey you" Lynn smiled. Kristina turned around and saw Justin poking
his head in the door.
"Hey, you guys sound like you're having fun."
"Well I just found another Guiding Light fan."
"Oh goodness" he said rolling his eyes. His mother had been watching
that show since he was little and now she had someone to talk to
about it. "Well um, the game is on, thought you'd like the know that
the Lions are winning."
"WHAT?!"
"You go and watch it hon."
"Are you sure you don't need any help in the kitchen?"
"No, no go ahead."
"Alright."
"We'll talk later."
"Ok." Kristina got off the couch and joined Justin.
"Looks like you two were getting along."
"We were, your mom rocks."
"I know."
**********************
"Well there's one person at this table happy about the outcome of
today's game."
"Hey whenever the Lions win which is rare you have to be happy."
"So do you miss Detroit?"
"Sometimes, I miss being downtown or just the city period. Everyone
is much more friendlier than out in LA." Paul and Kristina were
talking while Lynn and Justin were talking about things going on in
Memphis. Dinner went smooth. Afterwards Lynn and Kristina cleaned the
dishes together.
"My zipper is stuck!"
"Oh dear, I'll be right back."
"Ok." Kristina finished with the dishes.

Oh yeah, I'll tell you something
I think you'll understand
When I'll say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

Kristina smiled as Justin moved up behind her and placed his hands on
her waist and laid his head on her shoulder.

Oh please, say to me
You'll let me be your man
And please, say to me
You'll let me hold your hand
I'll let me hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

And when I touch you I feel happy
Inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

Kristina put down her last dish and turned around. She loved it when
Justin sung to her especially old songs by The Beatles. She might
have been from the `hood but who didn't like at least one song by
them? And why Justin sung it made it even more better. Kristina put
her arms around Justin's neck as he continued to sing.

Yeah, you've got that something
I think you'll understand
When I'll say that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

And when I touch you I feel happy
Inside
It's such a feeling that my love
I can't hide
I can't hide
I can't hide

He couldn't hold out anymore, all day they spent time with the family
that they didn't really have anytime to kiss each other like they
wanted. But Paul was somewhere, Stephen was in his bedroom, Lynn was
upstairs with Jonathon, so here was their chance. Justin pulled
Kristina in close, with all the fervor inside him, his lips met hers
for a mind blowing kiss. Justin's tongue dueled with Kristina's as
his hands roamed her back. Kristina latched onto Justin's shoulders
for leverage as her knees buckled beneath her. When it was time for
them to breath Justin pulled away and looked into Kristina's brown
eyes.
"You, um forgot a part" she smiled.
"You sing to me."
"Me? You're the Grammy award winner."
"And?"
"Ok, if I suck you have to tell me that I sound terrific ok?"
"I promise."

Yeah, you've got that something
I think you'll understand
When I'll feel that something
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand
I wanna hold your hand

It actually wasn't that bad but in the true nature of Justin he still
had to put a barb in.
"Eh, its American Music Award worthy, Grammy--"
"Oh shut up and kiss me."
"Yes ma'am." The two resumed back to kissing in front of the sink.
Lynn sighed. They were so cute together and she was happy that Justin
had Kristina in his life. She had him on his toes and boy those
kisses. Her son better get married to that boy soon before he
explodes.
