"Are you nervous?"
"Sweating bullets man."
"Hey don't be, you're marrying to girl of your dreams." J.C. sat down
next to Justin in the back room of the chapel. The past few days had
been strenuous as it was with Justin's fall out but like a good woman
that she was she forgave him. Even most of the guys couldn't fathom
how Kristina took him back. Must be nothing but true love eh? Chris
came over and passed Justin a bottle of water.
"Look at our man here, the youngest of the group getting married
before all of us old foggies."
"Hey who are you calling old, you're the oldest one. Speak for
yourself." Odd as it may be Chris and Joey's little spat made him
feel a little better about everything. So many things were running
through his mind. Was he ready for marriage so soon? Was she? Were
they jumping into things so fast? What was her favorite food? Did she
love him?! Of course she loved him, never mind those thoughts, Would
she be comfortable with him with his job schedule? What about being a
parent, she wanted to start a family. Would he be a good father? What
if he got up there and messed up on the vows? Damn why would she ask
him to write their own vows?! Ahhhh!!! Everyone could see the
frustration in Justin's face.
"Man chill" Joey said patting his back. "You're getting married to
Kristina, ok? Kristina!! The same Kristina that you swore up and down
on one night that you was your soul mate, the same girl that fate
brought back to you when you totally messed up on forgetting the cell
number, the same girl that you got engaged to with only knowing her
for 5 months and the very same girl that puts up with your @#%$,
sorry Lord, and still loves you. So like I said chill."
"I know Joe, I know I mean, what if I'm not a good enough husband to
her?"
"Man after that stunt you pulled the other day? She loves you
regardless. In her eyes you'll be the best husband or she would've
left you on your duff days ago sooooooo……."
"CHILL" they all said in unison.

"Ah look at you! You look like an angel!"
"Thanks grandma." Kristina's dress was jaw dropping. Made from Indian
silk, the top was bustier styled with a long 50 foot train. She
wanted to keep things a little traditional with a veil that covered
her face but it was really sheer so you could see through it. Her
bridesmaids Krystal, Shanna, Dez, Ash and Jasmine wore periwinkle
tank dresses with a silk sash around their waists similar to the one
around Kristina's. Everything matched perfectly.
"So are you nervous?" Dez asked.
"A little, I mean I just hope I'll be everything he envisions in a
wife."
"You are and then some."
"You love him Kris and he loves you. That's all that matters."
"You're right."
"Hey are you guys ready?" Richard asked. Richard was Kristina's
friend from high school that would walk her down the aisle. After
everything that happened the other night Justin cooled his jets. Sure
he was still jealous, that wasn't going anywhere but he accepted that
Kristina would be walked down by Richard.
"Yeah we're ready." Each bridesmaid gave Kristina one last hug before
leaving.
"You look great."
"Thanks Richie Rich."
"Now you're serious about this right? You want to marry this guy? Cuz
if you don't, I'll be more than happy to take you out the back exit."
Just like Richard acting like he was her older brother or something
despite the fact she was older than him. She loved his protective
side and embraced it because she'd do the same thing if he was
getting married.
"I'm more than sure."
"Then let's get you out there." Each bridesmaid walked down the aisle
with each groomsmen. Krystal and Joey, Lance and Jasmine, Dez and
J.C., Ash and Chris and Shanna came down by herself. "Here we go"
Richard smiled. The wedding march began to play and everyone stood
up. All smiles filled the church. The wedding hadn't even started yet
and Lynn was crying.
{Oh boy, now I'm gonna start} Kristina looked up and the one thing
calmed her more than anything. Justin's blue eyes. She kept hers
latched onto his and from there she made it.
"I am marrying to most beautiful woman in the world." Justin thought
to himself. Kristina made it to the altar and took Justin's hands in
hers.
"Hey babe."
"Hey." Both could feel each other shaking a little from nervous and
tried their best to calm one another down, if that was possible.
"Dearly beloved, We are gathered here in the sight of God and these
witnesses to unite Justin and Kristina in holy matrimony. As
believers in Jesus Christ, they recognize that it was God who
instituted marriage, and who said, "It is not good for man to be
alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." The God who made and
redeemed them also instituted this relationship they are about to
enter.
Justin and Kristina, the vows you are about to take are not to be
taken without careful thought and prayer. For in them you are
committing yourselves exclusively the one to the other for as long as
you both shall live. This love is not to be diminished by difficult
circumstances, and it is only to be dissolved by death.
As God's children by faith in Jesus Christ, the relationship of
marriage is especially meaningful. Certainly it is possible for non-
believers to marry, but only members of God's family by faith in
Jesus Christ can ever experience the joy and fulfillment which God
intends for marriage to have. Let me remind you, Justin and Kristina,
your home will never be what God intends for it to be if you leave
Him out of your relationship. As you are obedient to the Word of God,
and allow God to control your relationship, your home will be the
place of joy and testimony to the world that God intends.
There Are No Obligations on Earth More Sweet or Tender
Then Those You Are about to Assume.
There Are No Vows More Solemn Than Those You Are about to Make.
There Is No Human Institution More Sacred
Than That of the Home You Are about to Form.
It Should Be Entered into Reverently, thoughtfully, and with Full
Understanding of Its Sacred Nature.
A Marriage to Be Complete Must First Be Spiritual.
Who Gives This Woman to Be Wed?" Kristina's mother stood up and
nodded her head. "Very well, today Your Separate Lives with Their
Individual Memories,
Desires, and Hopes Merge into One. You Will Bring to This New Life
Each for the Sake of the Other, the Best That You Have in You Seeking
to Express Your Life Together. Into this holy estate these two people
come now to be joined together. If any of you can show just cause why
they may not be lawfully married, speak now or forever hold your
peace!" Justin and Kristina looked out into the crowd listening for
anything or anyone to interrupt the wedding. Instead everyone just
smiled, happy to see them where they were at the moment.
"Good good, now on to the good part. Kristina, Justin please hold
hands. I was told that Justin and Kristina have written their own
vows. Kristina, you will go first."
"Ladies first" Justin smiled.
"Ha ha." Kristina took a deep breath before speaking. "Justin with
you I have learned to trust with my heart. I offer my heart to you
today, and I know that, in your hands my heart and my love will
always be safe and secure. Sometimes I have to pinch myself. The two
of us remind me that dreams come true. I know that now because I'm
living my dream and I never want to wake up. I, Kristina Marie take
you, Justin Randall, to be my husband and these things I promise you:
I will be faithful to you and honest with you;
I will respect, help and care for you;
I will share my life with you;
I will forgive you as we have been forgiven;
and I will try with you better to understand ourselves, the world,
and God;
through the best and the worst of what is to come as long as we
live." Justin rubbed his thumbs across Kristina's hand to help calm
her. She was shaking like a leaf but now she was pretty much
collected.
"Now it is your turn Justin."
"Kristina, babe…." Justin stopped. If this was the worst time to go
completely blank then this was it. "You know I'll be honest, I can't
remember those vows I wrote to save my life so I'm gonna speak from
here" he said placing his hand over his heart. "I have loved you all
my life. I just didn't know it until I met you. I'll never forget
that day. That was the day my life really began because love came
crashing into my life, literally. When you meet someone you love and
they make you know what is it to be loved. No matter how undeserving
you think you are there's nothing like it. Kristina I promise you I
will make you feel loved every single minute of every single day for
the rest of your life. If I thought I loved you before that doesn't
even compare to how much I love you now. I almost lost you and I
couldn't live with that the truth is I can't live without you. What I
should be doing is thanking you for making my life complete."
"Justin, will you have this woman to be your wedded wife, to live
together in the holy estate of matrimony? Will you love her, comfort
her, honor, and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking
all others keep thee only unto her so long as you both shall live?"
"I will."
"Kristina will you have this man to be your wedded husband, to live
together in holy estate of matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him,
honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all
others keep thee only unto him so long as you both shall live?"
"I will."
"My we please have the rings." J.C. passed over the rings to the
priest. "A circle is the symbol of the sun and the earth and the
universe, of wholeness and perfection, and peace and love. It is worn
on the third finger, because of an ancient Greek belief that a vein
from that finger goes directly to the heart.
These rings mark the beginning of a long journey together. Wear them
proudly, for they are symbols which speak of the love that you have
for each other." Justin took the ring and slid it up Kristina's left
finger.
"I give you this ring as a symbol of our love. With it I wed you, and
give you my body, soul, and heart." Kristina followed.
"I give you this ring as a symbol of our love. With it I wed you, and
give you my body, soul, and heart."
"I would like to read Corinthians 13:4-7. Read this scripture always
to remind yourselves of the love you both have for another.
Love is patient; love is kind and envies no one. Love is never
boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take
offense. Love keeps no score of wrongs; does not gloat over other
men's sins, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love can not
face; there is no limit to its faith, its hope, and its endurance.
Justin and Kristina, if there is anything you remember of this
marriage ceremony, it is that it was love that brought you here
today, it is only love which can make it a glorious union, and it is
by love which your marriage shall endure. Now without further ado
every please welcome and embrace Mr. And Mrs. Justin Randall
Timberlake." Justin pulled back Kristina's veil and placed a kiss on
her that should've been a little more tamed down for the church but
at the moment neither could careless. They were finally married and
that was what mattered.
