As soon I got into the living room, I heard a huge yell, and suddenly, I heard, "YAY!!!! IT'S LAURI!!!!!!!"
Joey has just jumped on me.
He plants a kiss on my cheek.
And I am as scared as hell.
"You'll have to excuse me, but I just couldn't resist planting a kiss on such a gorgeous girl."
"Whatever Joe."
"You are gorgeous!"
"Bullshit," I mutter.
Apparently I didn't say that low enough because now all of them, even Chris, who was fooling around with Bacardi and Korea, are staring.
"Ummmmm, could everyone please stop staring at me?" I ask.

Lucky for us, JC steps in. "Ok, you're not, but we can't debate this. We have to get orientated."
"How are we going to do that?" Lauri asks, still blushing.
"I don't know."
"How about 20 questions?" says Joey.
"That sounds cool," says Lauri.
"Okay, so we'll start with Lauri and go clockwise. So, then it'll be me, Lance, Chris, Joe, and Justin," says Jayce.
"Okay, favorite holiday?"
"Christmas."
"Christmas."
"Halloween."
"Christmas."
"Christmas."
Lauri says, "Christmas."
And so we continue for the next 3 hours.

I ask, "Have you ever had a boyfriend?"
Lauri looks at me in a funky way for a second, and answers with a meek no, plastering a fake smile onto her face.
Suddenly, her cell goes off. "Excuse me.........Alo?.......Hey, J!!! No, I'm good. How's the fam?.......Really?.......Sorry......ah well.......it's your own fault for stayin'............Oh, would you shut up about me being French?..........Well I'm 2/3 spanish.......well at least I don't use all my money.....oh wait, you don't have any.......Hahaha..........Well, pbbt."
She blows the caller a rasberry. "Ok, so I gotta go, but tell your brother that I'll get the 4 by 4. Ok baby, bye!"
Joey automatically teases her. "Ooooohhhhhh, Lauri's got a mystery caller."
She laughs. "Oh, shut up!!!! He's a friend of mine, just calling to check in."
For a moment, I feel something bubble within me.
Oh, hell.

Ever since that guy called, Justin is acting superbly weird...
"JOEY!!!!! Earth to Joey!!!!!!!!" says Lauri.
"Huh?"
"I guess that problem circulates, doesn't it?"
I laugh. "Yea, I guess so."
"So what's on the agenda for today......well you know what I mean..........."
"Why don't we go shopping?" says Justin. His eyes are still abnormally downcast, and Lauri picks up on it too.
"Justin, what the hell is--" I start, but she stops me by saying,
"Well, papi, if it's what you want, then sure. Right, guys?"
We all look at each other, and agree.
