What can I say?  You already know how much I love the story.  It's so grown up...if that makes sense. It doesn't get lost in the whimsical and I love that it's so real.  I think that Serena and JC have a really good thing going and I hope they keep it up.  Update soon..... Amazing!

Wow!  Great chapter!  For a girl who hates to fly, sounds like Serena will be doing a lot more of it soon.  I like the way the character is growing--and I like that JC had something to do with that.  Not too sure what is up with him, but looking forward to finding out!

Author's Response: I thought about that the other day, that she sure flies a lot!!! Maybe her fear was rooted in something else that is working itself out... Plus, knowing what awaits you on the other side is worth what it takes to get there. There will be more j.c. In the next few chapters, promise!!!

not a very exciting chapter? seriously?! damn girl!

“No promises,” growled a voice thick with sleep and gravelly and so sexy it made me wish I’d taken the day off.

amen. i have little to no will power so I probably would've... lol!

but then again, if she did, we would've have gotten the AWESOME news! OMG! but like she said, we totally saw it coming, and would've been surprised if she didn't get it. but still... I did a little "woo hoo" at that.

Love Melissa btw ... “Boy is into you. Big time. BIG. TIME.”

yes he is.

I love how he spent his day being Handy Mandy, fixing this and fixing that.

“I need to clean up, but I’m done. You want to check it? Make sure I didn’t break it?” His face held a boyish, teasing expression that I secretly loved to see but rarely reacted to.

awwwwwww! You know... my bathroom sink keeps dripping, can I borrow him? lol!

but I'd be pissed if he rearranged my dvds and cds... they're organized by genre dude. pssh... alphabetized!

and I love when he was like all, "I wouldn't have taken advantage of you" ... damn! i so would've jumped across the table at that moment. its not the most romantic thing ever said but i think it makes your heart swell all the same.

i enjoyed seeing how her therapy works too, and three cheers for the no-more-woe-is-me decision.

and Regina! Holy shit! Regina!

how could you say this wasnt an exciting chapter? she found out her grandparents and father do exist and that they want to meet her! OMG! and hearing everything from Regina's point of view was just... wow. I never would've thought her story was anything like that.

I loved this chapter... so much development for our little Serena. Loved it!! :)

Author's Response:

Ah, I love your reviews! Lol. I think I just get so used to reading it that I think people will think it's boring. The story has to be told, though, so pushing through. The next few chapters should have more JC in them.

I think everyone needs a handy man like JC but uh.......I don't think he really did anything under there. ; ) He just looked cute.

I did enjoy giving her the smackdown in therapy-- and let her realize that she needed to just stfu, it wasn't only about HER.

*eep*

Author's Response: Oh really!!! Wow, thanks for sharing.. I hope I am capturing the moment and the emotions in a good way....

You are a very talented writer. The entire chapter is well written but the whole scene with Regina was very well played out.

"While others walked around laughing and joking and talking, pieces of my life were floating around that table, looking for a spot to settle, to fall into place."

This is a true gem of a sentence.  Just a few words to sum up an entire whirlwind of emotions. Very well done.
