Comments For All I Wanna Do...

So this chapter has been posted FOREVER and it has taken me almost as long to read it. As an adoptee I have found this story refreshing and truthful. This chapter was almost surreal for me to read. Personally I have run scenarios of what it would be like to meet any one of my birth parents through my head countless times. The meeting between Serena and her father is one of my ideal situations. A parent that did not know you existed, but is happy to know you are and willing to forge some sort of awkward relationship. Even if this situation would be my ideal, your writing made it seem perfectly realistic. If that makes any sense at all…? I am also glad that Serena had JC to lean on. I could not imagine going through this emotional meeting without someone to support me. Anyways, after this deep heartfelt chapter, I am ready to get back to some Chasez sex.

Author's Response: Hey! thanks for your reivew! I was pretty proud of this chapter, I thought it came out really well. Thanks for your comments about the adoption experience-- I tried to do a lot of reading about people meeting their brith parents and capture the emotion behind it. I'm happy it came out realistic and believeable without being cheesy. Thanks for your review!

Oh im so glad it went so well for her...I know I freaked out after meeting my dad for the 1st time ever after 20 yrs.
Her dads reaction to jc was just cute and funny

Author's Response: Oh cool, I'm glad you liked how it turned out. I didn't want to make it TOO dramatic and soap opera-ish.  :-D

GAWD! I love them so much!

I loved the whole... "baby, sweetheart, honey, just relax" bit... SO CUTE! and them going down for breakfast, "who knows me here?" and LOL... "You're saying I told you so, in your head. Stop it."

OMG HER GRANDPARENTS!

Seriously picturing My Big Fat Greek Wedding... loved it!

"We eat five courses," he explained, holding up five fingers and counting them down. "First, some ouzo and meze-that is drink and a light snack, some olives, some cheese, some bread. Next, Ana serves a great spanakopita. It's like ambrosia--delicious. Then we have salad, and some soup with orzo pasta, then I made roast beef with lemon potatoes. Sound good?"

DUDE! I'm like starving now! that shit sounds SOOOO good! *drool*

and omg when JC showed up... omg!

Maybe because he was my love interest but also because he ate faster than anyone I knew, inhaling the soup and spanakopita, stabbing miscellaneously at the salad and bread. He was eating everything all out of turn, but I think they were too amused by watching him eat to educate him.

awwwww! LOVE IT!

"Nice for honeymoon," George said to JC with a wink and a nudge.

hehehehehe! :)

and wow... her dad!

that description of Charles at the bar and her making her way over made ME lightheaded! OMG! I wasn't breathing!

and then... LMAO ... him not believing that JC was her boyfriend! Justin! Sexyback! OMFG! I DIED!

I love that everything worked out... *sigh* and she's HAPPY! YAY!

And that JC was there, holding her hand, but not really... you know, being there with her. I love that line she said to her dad... "a big moment for me is a big moment for him" ... awwwwww! I LOVE THEM!

I love this story! but you already know that... so... umm... more soon? yes yes! thank you!

Author's Response: LMAO I love the banter, love coming up with it. It rolls around in my head and I laugh as I write it. I told someone else that in my mind, JC is kind of a sarcastic silly person, doesn't really make a big deal out of anything, real laid back so I like to bring that out. I'm sure he has his serious side, I just don't think that is his core. I think people are far too wrapped up in JC's angst. ANYWAY! !  thanks for your review! I'm glad you're enjoying it! More to come but I haven't even started a new chapter yet. *EEP* [ hides ]
