I looooooooove this story. I've always seen JC as the rock of the group and now he's crumbling....so sad! But I love that side of him at the same time, I just hate what he's going through. Of course the guys would make fun of him and the nurse, who wouldn't? The conversation between him and Roy had me on the verge of tears and when he started crying to Karen about not wanting to die made me bawl. Please update as soon as possible.

Author's Response: Thank you!  That's how I've seen him, too: the quiet, sturdy one.  But, like the song says, "even the best fall down sometimes ..." ... or something like that!  I'm glad you enjoy it :)

literally sitting here in tears....*sobs and reaches for another kleenex*  omg...this story just rips my heart out but I can't stop reading!  I don't want him to die either!!  Please don't let him die....I know that as an author sometimes our characters are out of our control, but...if JC dies...I'm not sure I'd be able to handle that!  lol...He needs to fall in love with Lauren, like Lance is predicting, and get married.  Please?  Pretty please with a cherry on top?? :) 

Author's Response: You don't know how bad I just want to put the last few chapters up.  Even before this story started, I had a mental image of JC healthy/not healthy holding a guitar and writing.  It's going to incorporate so nicely into my story in the next few chapters, I think ... :)  Marriage, I don't know if that's in the cards ... but I'm also rooting for a little JC/Lauren collaboration, hahaha
