Ooohh. Wow. I didn't think she would take it this bad. As much as I like how their relationship is growing, I know that a big part of her attachment to Justin at the moment is because she is trying to fill that void inside. Even if she doesnt realize it. And I hope that she doesnt use that to try and get other type of comfort from him, and I like to think Justin is smart enough to let that happen.
Anyway. Keep it coming!!!
Author's Response: Justin is a smarty pants so I don't think he'll let that happen. Not anytime soon at least! She's getting better, but isn't back to normal yet...she'll get there someday!

She's slowly getting out of her funk! And I'm so glad! Just like Justin said-"baby steps" but even with that, I'm so glad Justin is around. And it's pretty obvious she is beginning to relay on him more and more. I love how they are bonding and developing a true relationship!

Oh my...this is going to so much harder for her than I thought. The questions is, will she let Justin or anyone else for that matter help her? She's stubborn isnt' she?
Thank God for Justin, though. He seems to be the only one that seems to have a handle on the situation. Which in the long run could be good or....bad. I actually feel for her. It's gotta be hard losing someone you love.
Keep writing girl. I feel like I'm in Emily's shoes, Im loving the way you're writing her.

Author's Response: Ahhh I love responsible Justin too! There was no way responsible Justin would ever let her sleep with Butch, or anyone else for that matter at this point. And even if he did have feelings for her, or wanted to kiss her, he knows she's not ready. Not at all!
Author's Response: This girl is in a major funk and Justin is going to be helping her for a while I think. He's about to deal with a totally different funk in the next chapter. I've never experianced what this character is going through but I'd imagine it would set me off into different moods everday! And who doesn't love a helpful Justin?
Aww! That was a great chapter! I love how you're showing how hard this is for her. That it's different for everyone. And I love that she has Justin to tell her how it is. Who isn't afraid to piss her off.
I know this is a beginning of a beautiful relationship! But I also know that even if it develops into more, it's not going to be easy for her to move on, even if its with a great guy like Justin.
Can't wait to read the next chapter!

So I havent found a J fic in awhile that's caught my eye, but for some reason I was drawned to this. And the first chapters are amazing. Poor Emily.
I can't wait to see how Justin and her relationship develop after the death of fiancee. PMS!
