I'm glad that they cleared the air between themselves. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next. I love this, PMS.

Author's Response: Some of the air has been cleared. But Justin and Kiki still have one more part of their past to straighten out. Thanx 4 reviewing!

Update time!!

Well this was a pretty pivatol chapter. Lots of things were finally...FINALLY addressed after almost two years. It was time..

I'm happy they had that talk but I still feel that there is something unresolved between Justin and Kiki...baby aside. WHY he broke up with her and basically broke her heart. He never answered for that, and I guess with Kiki getting pregnant it became a secondary issue..but I still feel like it's an issue he never answered for.

Poor Cheyenne..What she's going through is just heartbreaking. Just imagining her little body that sick..*sniff*

Once again, you've outdone yourself!

Dani

Author's Response: You are absolutely right, this chapter was an important one in regards to Justin and Kiki's relationship outside of their bond as parents. Now that the most important issue between them - Justin's absence from Cheyenne's life - has been settled the second one is starting to resurface. Its going to take some time for it to get to the point where they have to address the downfall of their past relationship - Cheyenne's still gotta get her transplant and changes in their lives outside of the hospital have to be made, but there are definitely questions (unresolved feelings prehaps ;) ) that still need to be answered. And they most certainly will be answered. Thanx for reviewing!!!!

OMG. Girl, that scene with Cheyenne sick and suffering had me on the verge of tears. That poor little girl. God, poor Kiki and Justin. It's tough for any parent to watch their kid going through hell. Thankfully Justin's got his shit together and he's there for the both of them. They both really need him.

Justin as a Dad is adorable. I loved the little puzzle scene.

Let me say, that ending is a tease. It's obvious that theres still chemistry between Justin and Kiki. I just wanted them to kiss and become that happy little family. Ugh, girl you need to make that happen! I'm counting on you! lol.

Author's Response: I know I was even depressed when I was writing the chapter. Luckily Cheyenne has a lot of people willing to do whatever necessary to get her through her treatment, especially her parents. Justin and Kiki are dealing with a very overwhelming situation, but now that they - Kiki in particular - are concsious of the fact that they have each other to turn to, its not as hard for them to keep it together for the rest of Cheyenne's battle......Justin is shifting very well into his new role as a Daddy and more importantly, he's loving it.......Now the end, well the whole chapter really, shows that Justin and Kiki are reconnection, building a relationship rather than just existing as two people who happen to have a child. Now as far as chemistry goes....well....let's just say the gas has been turned back on and now the fire's just waitin' to be lit. When is that gonna happen? *Shrug* Gotta wait and see. I can tell you that you can most definitely count on me girl ;) Thanx for your review!!!

Author's Response: Kiki is quite the character. Thanx for reviewing!

I'm glad that they're getting along so well.  They make a cute family :)

Author's Response: They do, don't they? But how much of a family are they going to become? *hint, hint* ;) Thanx for the R&R!

I'm glad that things are getting better and pixie has seemed to accept her daddy to a degree. I love this, PMS.

Author's Response: Yeah slowly, but surely Cheyenne and Justin are building a relationship and its only going to get better and stronger. The three of them are connecting, but they still have to get pass this major hurdle of her leukemia. Thanx for reviewing!

lol, I'm brokebacklance on JJB and believe me, I LOVE this story. It's absolutely amazing. I freak out everytime its updated lol. It's the dorkiness in me. Anyway, you rock so thank you for creating such an amazing story that I'm so invested in.

I'm glad to see that Justin has stepped up and taken responsibility. Sure, its a little late but he can be forgiven lol. Kiki is really going through a lot... both her and Justin are, but I think for a mother, a situation like this is worse. I'm glad Justin's there for her... but I'm getting afraid that things might go crazy again.

Like with Cameron, will she grow resentment towards Cheyenne and Kiki? Gah, like shes not a complete bitch, but I'm getting a strange vibe from her. Like maybe shes being TOO nice about this situation. I think it's a matter of time before she freaks... but I'm speculating. lol. Anyway, I love this story... so you'd better update soon. :D

Author's Response: I had a feeling that was you! I was so humbled by the shout out because your stories are my favorites. I freak out just like you when you update. I'm a fan of a fan. LoL.....What Justin has done can never be forgotten, but it can be forgiven and he is definitely on the way to redemption. And its going to be a bumpy road, he's going to be tested to see if he can handle the pressure. But he's not going to be the only one - that strength that Kiki's known for its about to be shaken even more. Like you said, for a mother, especially a formerly single mother, watching Cheyenne suffer is really going to hit her hard......Ms. Diaz is a question mark at this point in the story - is she going to be a problem or not? And if she's not going to be a problem, is that because she's going to go with the flow and accept the situation for what it is or because she's going to be bumped out of the picture?.....Only time will tell. Thank you so much for being one of my biggest support. You're the bomb!!!

I declare this a holiday...it happens every so often and when it does it's very special. It's called "Spoiled" by LuLu Day!   LOL  Yay...!!!!

Ok..Looks as if Justin is getting a crash course in being Daddy. Not only that...this family suite..it's forcing them to interact as a family unit. Very interesting.

Justin has to be completly humbled by the proof that everyone believed he would come around eventually. I am cringing just thinking about sweet little Cheyenne going through chemo. It's going to be hard on everyone..but I think it might just about kill Kiki.

As always..your writing is touching and wonderful. It hits the heart right where it hurts. BTW that was a compiment!  :D

Author's Response: I took it as a compliment, so thank you. I swear I crack up when I read your reviews. Hopefully the next "Spoiled" Day won't take so long to happen again. Yes this experience not only had opened Justin's eyes to his responsibilities to Cheyenne, but he's also learning how to be a father and how to interact with his child. I think he's doing a pretty good job and luckily Cheyenne is really connecting with him. The Elmo Room - they're looking like a happy family already now aren't they? ;) Now on to the sad stuff - yes that happy little family they are starting to become is going to go through some hard times. Hopefully they'll get through it all still intact. As always, thanks for the awesome review Dani!

hope you update soon!! really liking the story hope looking forward to continue reading the story...

Author's Response: Oh it will definitely continue. LoL, I'm actually working on the next chapter right now, but its still pretty scrambled. It might be awhile before its ready to be posted, but its on the way! Thanx 4 reviewing!

such a beautiful story girl and great for your first

Author's Response: Aww thank you. I'm glad you're like it. :)

lostinadreamx (Signed) on Mar 21, 2008 01:17 pm (Blue Meets Blue)

okay so im a spazz and didn't realize that you updated this twice. :D you made me weekend lol., thanks haha

omg the meeting with cheyenne and justin was so good. that little girl gives him the strength to be a better person. now if only he and kiki would work things out... :( dont make me sad girl! lol make it happen!

oh and Happy bday grandma! lol

Author's Response: You're welcome for the double dose....Cheyenne is strength for Justin. He understands now and is willing to be the best father to her, that including changing his ways - becoming selfless and being more loyal to the people who have always been by his side. He's becoming the person that he used to be, the person that Kiki fell in love with *hint, hint*, but will Kiki be responsive to the old Justin? Will she give him a second chance, that's if he even wants one. A lot of issues still need to be resolved between them and there's no telling how that will go down. At least for now ;) And it was a very happy birthday for my Grandma, she had a great time at her birthday dinner. Thanx a bunch for another awesome review. You rock girl!

DaniD (Signed) on Mar 20, 2008 10:27 am (Blue Meets Blue)

It's a true testament to how good this story is when I feel like it's my birthday come early because of a double update! LOL

Very touching moment..First Kiki getting to hold Cheyenne for the first time since she had been hospitalized..and then Justin getting to hold her for the first time..well..ever. I'm glad that Cheyenne's eyes are the same color as Justin's. Just one more thing to drive home to Justin what a fool he had been to turn his back on his own flesh and blood. Sounds like he's getting it now though.

I'll hold you to the promise that Justin will make amends to Kiki eventually too. Ok..Ok..so he doesn't love Cameron..that just means he ran from Kiki like a little bitch boy. I hope he learns to man up! lol ;D

Ooo..Dwayne Johnson...*stares off dreamily* Yeah..he's yummy :P

Author's Response: Well then happy pre-birthay LoL. Cheyenne has a few traits - personaility and physical - that her father also has and it does play a part in making Justin see the small connection he already has with his daughter. Now Justin has manned up with one woman in his life, but he's got to get things straight with a couple more. Will it come down to Cameron or Kiki for Justin? He might have to make some decisions, but then again Kiki might make them for him. She may be willing to give him a second chance with Cheyenne, but not with her. Hmm who knows what's going to happen there. LoL ;) Yummy is right, imagine my excitement when I found out about the cast of Southland Tales - a two for one special lol. I might have to get that movie no matter how wacked it is. Thanx for the review Dani! :D

Awwwww!!! that was so adorable!  I'm glad she's taken so well to him :)  Ohhh...I hope things keep getting better.

Author's Response: Justin is very lucky Cheyenne was so open with him. She could have easily shied away from him. That wasn't a get out of free card for Justin though, he still has some work to do to earn her complete ease with him. Thanx for reviewing!
