This has to be my favorite chapter so far, mostly because its the first chapter where Justin is being completely straight up and honest. It's making him a lot more likable.

Epp. Once again girl … sorry it took me so long to review. Things have been crazy busy cause I jus ended my last week of summer school. But now I got a bunch of free time on my hands, so I’ll be catching up and hopefully doing some writing of my own ;). Anyway, great job once again. Author's Response: Aww c'mon girl, he's really being genuine this time and trying to put his best foot forward by offering her some friendship. He knows that they've gone about knowing each other the completely wrong way and that they were heading nowhere fast so starting anew would be the best bet for the two of them. And LMAO at him getting a D-, I mean obviously he had to know some basics but give him some time and he'll learn the deeper, juicier stuff. Author's Response: Yeah, in order to try to change her mind he had to do his homework (haha). I think Justin does have some feelings for her and I think that's why he was trying to get under skin the way he did. Bri I don't even know what to write. I'm so shocked ( and relieved for her) that she spilled to Ava like that. I just want to hug her lol. I can't wait for Nick to find out, major drama.

Ok...That's all well and good. Friends..Though Justin should have to be left hanging a bit I think. He WAS a pretty big asshole. *shrug* He made Selah feel pretty horrible about herself.
As long as they can keep it at the friends level with Nick and Jessica in their lives. Otherwise, they'll be right back to square one.

i'm glad justin apologized, but i feel like selah is trying to play the victim here. i mean, don't get me wrong. justin is older and he should no better, but it's not like selah was pushing him away. she seemed fine until he denied her request to break up with jess. i know her past is hard on here so that didn't help the situation, but yeah. again, good for justin for apologizing and suggesting they get to know each other. personally, i just wish selah would break up with nick. i mean, if she's constantly thinking about justin it doesn't matter that she physically is leaving justin alone. he's still on her mind, plus she has guilt. the main reason i think she should break up with nick is so she gets to know herself better. i feel like she doesn't know herself enough. she needs "me time." concentrate on making herself better, gaining confidence, and work on going after her dreams. and i know i was all like, "man! ava needs to back off" at the beginning of the story, but now i'm thinking, "ok ava. get the leash on this girl." hahaha! :o)

I agree that Selah should have been stronger and smarter about her decisions when it came to getting involved with Justin and I think she tried to do so, but went about it in a messed up way that kind of made her look selfish. But at the same time I feel that since she doesn't have a lot of experience in the whole "relationship/male" area, she got herself involved in a very shitty situation and didn't really know how to get herself out of it on her own and I think Justin stepping up to the plate and suggesting that they start over as friends is going to give her that opportunity. I think the two of them starting over is going to get her to look at things, put them into perspective and help figure out what and who she wants in life because you're right, she doesn't know herself very well and that's why she keeps getting into these messes. Also, confessing to her sister I think was her cry for help because it's obvious that she's needs some outside assistance and guidance. As for breaking up with Nick...well they're even officially dating or anything, they're just involved with each other so Selah could easily break things off with him if she wanted to. How dare you update when I'm about to go to bed?! Don't you know this can't wait until morning?! I'm being forced to read this against my will! But I'll do it anyway. *sigh* I'm glad Justin is manning up and being less of an a-hole. La doesn't deserve to get jerked around like he's been doing to her. I think starting over as friends is a great idea. Of course, I'm hoping they'll have sex very soon but friendly sex. Won't Nick be extra suspicious now that they'll be all chummy and hanging out together? I kind of think them being friends will draw more attention that them sneaking around.
