Author's Response: Hahaha, yeah, I totally got you ... just wanted to explain it further =]  I'm sort of like Alisan in a sense, but not as ... dramatic, hahaha.  I know a good thing when it's in front of me =]  But I do agree - a lot of people DO like to be miserable, and that's sad.  It's more of an attention-wanting, pity-me kind of thing, I think.  Sad.

Hmm, she's a moron. Just for being that stupid, she doesn't deserve him lol I mean really, people like that really throw me. I know people like in real life, which is why is sad. They would rather be empty, miserable for the rest of their life than admit to loving someone. You can't be scared of love! lol That's just dumb lol Maybe al least in fiction world some brains will fall out of the sky for Alisan, she's obviously lacking 'em lol more soon.

Author's Response: Well, she had been prepared to be single for the rest of her life, and then he threw her through a loop so she isn't sure how to handle it just yet.  It is kind of crazy for someone to run from a good guy who just wants to love you (or her, in this case); some people aren't prepared for that kind of thing, no matter how bad they want it.  This is kind of the case for her: used to loving and never receiving it in return, and now, she gets it and is returning it, but doesn't know how to act upon it.  It's not really that she wants to be empty and miserable ... she just is scared of it all - the finalty (I don't even think that's a word ... oh, well) and the seriousness of something like that is very concrete to her.  She doesn't want to risk what she has with Justin now for something that could end.  This is basically what I have her fighting against.  =]  Thanks for the review!
