Joshua Chasez and Raleigh Coons were meant for each other, or so they thought. When Josh moves away from their home town Millington in Shelby Forrest County, Tennessee, for college in New York City, he puts their relationship in jeopardy. Is their love strong enough to endure everything thrown their way? Or will time and space tear their life-long relationship apart?

Go through the twists and turns of their love/hate relationship when Josh returns home the summer after sending that fateful letter. Raleigh has changed more than Josh cares to think about, but he can't hide the feelings his heart still holds for her. A few months have gone by and Raleigh and Josh had settled into their schooling at opposite ends of the country. They knew a relationship wouldn't work if they hadn't had time to spend together before leaving Tennessee, so they agreed to just be friends for the time being. At NYU, Josh was studying as hard as he could, while Raleigh was doing what she loved. She made many new friends in her first few weeks at the Hollywood Academy of Music and was having a blast. The bad thing being, with every college student came the partying, drugs, and procrastination. Raleigh was no exception.

After getting a surprise visit from the people she cares about most, will she clean up and become the respectful Raleigh Coons she had always been? Or will the music industry continue to envelope her until she doesn't know who that person is anymore?
