I like to read, and occasionally I like to write.  I used to write fan fiction way back in the day (when I was *cough* twelve *cough*

I started reading fiction again because of SomethingBlue42's (Un)Tying the Knot story, which is how I found this dandy community.  I'm happy to be here, and I look forward to reading all y'alls wonderful fan fiction.

As for me personally...I'm a New Yorker who "grew up" in the Tennessee, and now resides as a hippie in California--and even though *NSync introduced me to pop music, I feel like the boys have kind of followed me around languidly ever since.

So, again.  Here I am.  And yeah...I *may or may not* put Giddy Up in my iTunes mix from time to time.  I'm just sayin'.

He was going to attend the toughest, strictest boarding school in the country to prove to the public and his fans that he could indeed survive school life after being issued the challenge on live television. And, he was going in prepared for whatever his school life experience would dish out at him. There was just one flaw in his little plan. He was prepared for everything except the last thing he ever thought would happen to him while attending Higher Heights Boarding School...falling in love. Like that wasn't disaster enough, he had to end up falling for the most unlikely candidate in the entire school who wasn't even his type which only proved to Justin that the biggest challenge he was going to face, was yet to come...

ah yes... this is actually the sequel to a story called Waking Up in Vegas. I would highly recommend reading that first because without it, a good portion of this one will make zero sense.

I initially started reading this story 'cause I thought you were writing about the actual Hotel Cafe in LA (since she is moving to Cali and all).

But even though the hotel cafe ended up being in Nashville, I still love this story.

Your depiction of driving pretty much sums it up.  I've moved from NY to TN to CA (coincidentally), and each of those places holds a special place in my heart.  And every time I remember the drive, I remember wanting to shoot myself in the face.

Looking forward to reading more.  Love to find more about her encounter with Justin after the show--if there is one.  Or perhaps their life is ill-fatedly intertwined. :)

Keep up the good work. (ps--I highly suggest all y'all check out the Hotel Cafe.  The only music place that's like family here, and they're notorious for great performers in the singer/songwriter scene.  They helped discover Meiko, Colbie Collait, Ernie Halter, and Thao with the Get Down Stay Down).

Oh goodness!  I loved it, thank you for writing this! :)  I loved how you chose Britney and the *N Sync days, and how you made him a young father.  I think you really captured the emotion of what a kid at that age would do.  

My favorite part was when Justin asked JC to be the Godfather, because he was like a dad to him...and then the protection line he used when he asked about the sex of the baby was just so ironically hilarious.

 

Overall, great story.  Really loved it--including the picture at the end.  Thanks for writing it!

okay...

these two make my effing head hurt.  Lucas is sucha  massive jerkface.  Justin is obviously an asshole, and Madison, well...she's stubborn as ever.  I just get so mad sometimes at them--it's like...they try to change, and they fucking don't.

However.... I'm glad that Justin kissed her.  Kudos to him for growing a pair and going for it.  And I'm glad that Madison finally stood up and said Justin was it for her.  It's both obvious they love each other, so they should both just get on with it.  Before I smack the shit outta both of 'em. :)

 

The next update will be interesting for sure.
