I'm a single college graduate and long-time fan of *NSYNC. To this day, I still listen to them and adore them; Chris is easily my most favorite, no questions asked. I'm also a huge fan of James McAvoy, Elijah Wood, Disney, and just about anything to do with unicorns and fantasy.
College-wise, my major is Creative Writing with a minor in art. I aim to be an author (mostly fantasy, though I would like to try a bit of everything) and illustrator, and maybe take a stab at a few screenplays, too.
I'm an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For that reason, you will only get PG and occasional PG-13 stories from me.
I'm a born and raised USA/Utah girl, and my family consists of two brothers, two sisters, a brother-in-law, a niece, two nephews, and a cat, Butterscotch.
You can also find me on deviantART and Fanfiction.net, under the username "unicorn-skydancer08," though most of my friends and followers just call me Mel.
Let the good times roll!
You do a great job. The dialogue flows nicely and I can feel the intensity of the emotions as if I were witnessing it myself. Keep it up!
Well, this certainly looks interesting. I'm already on my way to the next chapter.
That was surprisingly short, but also surprisingly sweet. Great job, mate!
Surprise! It's me, Unicorn-skydancer08, before I signed up for this place. I thought I'd send you a slightly more "official" review.
As always, your story never fails to move me. I always love reading emotional stuff that just gets you in the feels. And since Chris is my all-time favorite member, this serves for a fantastic mix. It does my heart good to see there are still some NSYNC fans out there and some NSYNC-themed stories being written to this very day. Plus, that song you included at the end ranks among the most beautiful, soulful songs of all time. You have chosen well, my friend.
This looks to be a fascinating story, and I would love to see it updated someday.
Wowsers, that's one of the saddest stories I've ever read.
Me and my heart we got issues
Don't know if I should hate you or miss you
Damn I wish that I could resist you
Can't decide if I should slap you or kiss you
Issues - The Saturdays
Wowsers, this chapter really packs a punch. The dialogue is especially compelling and I like how it all flows naturally; nothing feels forced or hokey. A little too much cussing for my comfort, but the story itself is spot-on.
Author's Response: Thanks honey - this one drove me a little crazy trying to get it right, but there's nothing like reading this kind of comment to make it feel worth it :o)
When two brothers seek revenge upon a member of Nsync they succeed in hitting him where it hurts the most...by kidnapping three of his friends. He and the remaining group member, along with investigators have just 72 hours to find the others before their time is up.
So, are you going to update this thing anytime soon? The suspense is totally murderous, man.
You do a fabulous job with the descriptions. I could easily picture everything, and the emotions are very tangible, too. I don't usually get emotional about the stuff I read, but this one definitely gets me right in the feels. Keep it up, mate.
Boy-howdy, you sure know how to keep the suspense rich and thick. You should consider writing an official novel or screenplay.
Man, I hope you finish this story soon. The suspense is killing me, almost literally!
This was so cute and funny; I actually found myself chuckling toward the end. I could easily envision this as if I were watching a movie. I have a lot of driving problems myself, so I could totally relate, too.
Nice work, mate!
You know, I really did find this cute and amusing. If there's one scene from "The Reel NSYNC" that's really stuck with me, it's their "No Mercy" moment at the airport. Nice job, mate!
It's Chris's bday and he thought that his friends forgot about it, he realized that he was wrong.. :P
I do not know Chris or any of his bandmates, his friends, family, etc. This is pure fiction.. :)
Hey and howdy! I signed up for this place just today, and yours is the first story I've officially reviewed. This was an incredibly sweet story that really brought on the warm fuzzies. I sure would like to see those guys get back together, too. I know it's been a while, more than a while, and I know it's ultimately their decision to make...but you still hope, right? Well, at least we know that they WILL be together when Chris gets married. (His girlfriend sounds very sweet. He deserves a good woman.) If you're interested, I got a little story of my own in the works.
Author's Response: Hooray for the warm and fuzzies! I'm sorry that I'm just reading your review now.. lolz And Yes Chris and Karly make such a nice couple..(it has a nice ring to it) :D I'm glad that their relationship is going well, I'm happy for the both of them.. :) And thank you for reviewing!
That was just too cute and funny for words. I love the way Chris grovels before her, even using his own shirt for the "white flag."
