i started writing nsync fanfic in '98 so i'm like, way old school.  


this is the home of my caffeine addicted, smut writing alter ego. i'm way less inappropriate in my real life. i like writing about jc. that voice, that face, and that vaguely enigmatic personality just do it for me.

so, i'm re-reading this (for inspo, obvs) and although i forgot about ari's subtly dirty jokes and jc's not-so-subtle strategy to make her obnoxious neighbor disappear, i *do* remember that i thoroughly enjoyed this story. she's a little sassy and he's a lot sexy and i'm looking forward to getting to know them both again. :D :D :D

It can be really difficult to stay in present tense, but you're doing a really good job of it, while keeping the action of the story flowing. Also, I'm really enjoying your dialogue. Great chapter--love that they had "the talk." I'm looking forward to more Ari and JC!

so first of all, CONGRATS ON THE BEBE! i have two and they're the best! i wish you a healthy 3rd trimester and a peaceful, safe delivery! 

i'm really enjoying the progressing intimacy between JC and Ari. the moment she finds him in the studio and he confesses to be being nervous about meeting her parents is so tender.

and i'm DYING at her brother's reaction! OH EM GEE! talk about an embarrassing moment--even as an adult! on to the next chapter...

They're so damn cute! Also, everytime I read dialogue wherein JC uses the term 'honey' I have to physically stop for a moment because I picture him saying it...that WAY he says it...and I lose the ability to focus for a little bit.

Author's Response: Lol. I do the exact same thing with the 'honey', that's why I try to use it sparringly so that it continues to have that impact. I need longer recovery time for 'Mama' though...and it is creepy to me if anyone else says it but him. When he says it it's just...gah. Lol. Only for use during Sexy Time though ;)

I have a fondness for stories that take place 'back in the day'--especially the ones that were written back then. (I'm kind of reworking the very first fanfic I wrote back in '99.) 

I really enjoyed the first chapter of this and I'm very much looking forward to digging into more of the story. Also, could that six letter password be another 'J' name? ;-)
