i started writing nsync fanfic in '98 so i'm like, way old school.
this is the home of my caffeine addicted, smut writing alter ego. i'm way less inappropriate in my real life. i like writing about jc. that voice, that face, and that vaguely enigmatic personality just do it for me.
ok, here i am, starting fresh with you. i'm really interested to see how you continue (redo?) this one. i loved the first iteration, so i'm excited about this one!
Author's Response: Aw, thank you. That's really kind of you to say. I loved the first one too but it just doesn't feel... right to me. I think I can make changes that will hopefully improve it and make it better, (yes, Miranda, that's what improve means!) I'm learning a lot for being here and reading other fics and am not content with my own until they are at least up to scratch with everyone else's. I may be giving myself a hard time, but writing means a lot to me and I want to be the best I can be at it. Thanks again for your support. :)

ok, so far i'm just loving the way you're establishing all of their connections. how they met, who's closest to whom and all of that. this is great!
wow! why does Chris hate Kate so much? and wtf Justin?! the way you've written about what's going on between Liv and Chris...I feel it on a spiritual level. that feeling of watching something major in your life just kind of crumble, while everyone around you is going on, oblivious and happy. i'm loving this!
ice cream, and jc on top. i mean...um...wait, what? that's not what you said. i'm so distracted now.
ahem. loved this one. liv is so angry! with chris. with kate. and chris has some major issues with kate! and that dream from the beginning...what and WHO?! and i feel bad for koren because she doesn't even fully have a clue as to what's going on under the surface with her friends. although, kate doesn't seem clued in to liveither.
so many layers and so much to peel away. i am enjoying this SO MUCH. it reminds me tiny bit of that one christopher pike story (did you read cp as a teenager?) where all of these kids get together for what's supposed to be a weekend of debauchery, and a reunion of sorts from the last time they did it...and someone almost died. i have to look up the name of it. anyway, great job, my dear. soooo looking forward to the next chapter!
mother fuck. you can't have words in your end notes about jc on top...or bottom...and expect a cohesive review because now my ability to form intelligent thoughts is gone. :D :D
that part with justin is so hot. despite his increasing creepiness. and jc's and kate's first time together. ha! it's also good to see kate maybe coming to realizations about things between all of them. i'm looking forward to hearing more from koren's pov. and as always, i love the way you're weaving in the past with the present action. <3 it girl!

This First part of the story is roughly about the formation of this all new girl band around 1998, called "Innosense", who were by that time actually managed by Justin's Mum, too. Although, it is about this teenage girl, Corinna. She's about 12 or 13 yrs old. And is secretly, and strictly forbidden to, going to her first 'nsync-concert & band meeting afterwards. A runaway. Who will be finding in the end of this trilogy, that she has one major thing in common with one of these five guys, that she would have never dared to be true to herself ....!!

Wow! I must admit I never got their cd here... but I think that's more because they weren't really that big overhere, in Germany?! But I got that Birthday-Song they were singing on together with *NSYNC.... that was MY JAM for years! I'd play it for everyone's birthday ALL day long! ;-)

I so love this!! I've always wondered how my idealized, fictional version is the same as/different than the real dude. This is such a great prompt; maybe you could introduce it as a challenge later on? Fantastic job!
