Hello, I'm Miranda. I've been writing fanfiction since 1999, when I discovered *Nsync and the ability to write down the stories in my head. I love being able to switch off from day-to-day life and throw myself into another world.
Great short. Loved the last sentence especially, 'It was the beginning of redemption.' Great :)
"What are you thanking me for?"
"I’m thanking you for thinking about me."
Awww, this was so great. Made me smile, laugh and feel a little sad. I loved the premise of this and the way you wrote the dialogue. :)
"Staring out in to the night trying to hide the pain."
He sat on the back porch and watched the sun as it was setting,
thinking to him self,” I can't believe this is happening to me." In
front of him he held a scrapbook of photos and momentums from all the
countless tours, promotions and charity events he had done with his
four best friends over the years. Pretty soon he'd be back in his
proper home resting comfortably. The only down side was his friends
who had become more like brothers wouldn't be there to enjoy it with
him like they have done for every previous event in his life so far.
Whether it was the good or bad, up or down, he could always count on
them to be there for him. He knew he always had a built-in support
system with his band mates.
Oh no! Did not see this plot twist coming! :( Poor Lance :(
Corporate drone Serena Willis is living an existence that seems just fine, until she meets a celebrity on a flight to LA. Not just any celebrity, but one she's been dreaming about meeting for a long time. Trapped together as they fly to LA, they begin to talk and sparks fly. Serena takes a chance, and they hit it off. But will this be just a weekend fling, or is this more than they bargained for?
I know this is a really fandom place to review, but I have to just to say I am loving this story! It took me a while to get into it-- I don't usually read JC fiction, but this is already turning into one of my faves. So much so I have saved it on my kindle to read again (as I know I will want to!)
Author's Response: It's totally AWESOME that you're reading this story! It was my baby, I'm very proud of it. Enjoy. Many times! :D
NOT what I was expecting when you said someone screws up! Naughty boy, although I had a niggling feeling that something would happen like this sooner or later. Poor Serena, hope she'll be able to forgive him (and soon!)
Author's Response: He's terribly naughty. I love drama. LOL!
Favourite chapter so far :)
I loved the part about the screensaver, that was so sweet. Poor Serena, it must be so hard to settle into life in someone else's home, especially when it is so different to what you're used to. And not yet working and just having days stretching ahead of her while he is so busy. Hmmm. Think I'd struggle with that.
I love this couple. I love that they aren't afraid to bitch and moan at each other. They are so real. They'll make it, I'm sure :)
Haven't finished reading this yet, but just had to stop and say Gram is hilarious! Shy and blushing when she meets him and then *bam* straight into engagement questions. I guess there'll be a pay off for them being able to share a room! *scurries off to read more...*
"Assume the position."
"Face down, ass up?"
bahahahaha. Hilarious!
This happens every time. I get about 6 paragraphs in and I read something that makes me laugh out loud and have to come back on here to tell you!
"I'm bringing you back me."
"That old thing?"
"...I mean yay, you!"
Hilarious. I love their teasing banter, and how much of a loveable jerk he can be. The way you write his dialogue just fits for me. So much so that I hear his words in his voice. It really works.
Anyway, that's enough... Back to reading. Thanks for making the last hour before I fall asleep so fun, and for making it stretch into two, or three... This story is currently the reason I'm so brain-dead at work. Whoops.:/
Wow! Just... Wow.
I almost don't want to read this next chapter because then it will really be over! I've so enjoyed reading this, and have really come to love Serena and her relationship with JC. Ill certainly be reading it all over again when I've finished the last chapter!
Very deep and moving. I especially liked this part, "Was it raining or was that just her tears?" Poor Nicole :(
I just thought that you should know
I've been holding on while you've been letting go,
Can I be so bold?
Cause all this sucking up to you is just getting old
Well, it's not too late to say it right this time
Cause I know I said I'm sorry,
But that's not what I meant to say
Inspired by "What I Meant To Say"-Daughtry
Is it right to want to applaud a character at the end of a fiction? I don't care! Go J! My favourite line was, "I can't lie, we broke up once over control of the remote." I think we must all know couples like this.
