I hate these types of things. How am I supposed to let my faithful readers know all about moi when I have to do so in a little itty bitty paragraph? Oh, well. I suppose I'll manage. Anyhoo. My name is Laurie. I love reading and writing fan fiction. My favorite type of ice cream is the kind that has the most chocolate. I enjoy long walks on the beach and sunsets. What? I actually kind of do. I seem to be better at writing short stories but don't let that discourage you because anything by me must be absolutly amazing. Oh, I also have a bit of a modesty problem. So, one question. What in tarnation are you doing reading this when you could be reading those wonderful stories of mine? Shoo! Shoo! Further inflating my large ego, I have been nominated at the Inspiration Awards and the Cosmic Pop Awards, so damnit, vote for me! Just kiddin'. I've also got some stories reviewed at Concrete Rose Reviews, so check 'em out and read about me even more, which, by the way, I am sure will become you're new favorite activity. I've youz ever wanna talk to me even more, my AOL screenname in piratemouthgurl and my email is laurieroberts3@gmail.com. Also, I am what some consider an editor or Beta. If you need someone to read your stories and/or give you contructive critisizm, then I'm your girl. Just click that Contact link that you see a little bit the upwards direction, or use the information I just gave you.
I've made a big mistake. You're a fool to take me back. Tulips were your favorite, too. Like I always say, reviewing makes me love you. Edited to perfection, for your reading pleasure.
*Sequel to Go With The Flow* Cassie's world has collapsed around her. She has no where to turn but to the one man she knows is dangerous. With her mother, her boyfriend, and her best friend closing in on her, Cassie has to realize that she can get help before she drowns in the current.
[Winner of Best Villian at the Inspiration Awards]As she presses the knife against his throat, she gives him one final farewell kiss... Reviewing is always appreciated
Daisy Coleman: stubborn, independant and the star of the new VH1 reality gardening show. Justin Timberlake: nonchalent, bored and clueless to all things feminine. Years of women thrown you do that to a man. Not all women want to be showered with chocolates and terms of endearment. Some just want to get down and dirty. Isn't it amazing how one scent can bring back a lifetime of memories?
Cassie Erikson is insecure. She knows it. Her best friend Mel knows it. And she wants to change. With a crazy trip to Miami and two men who come crashing into her life head first, she may just get her chance. But everything always comes with a price. [Winner of Best Comedy, Most Heartbreaking Moment, Best Cliffhanger, Best Novel and the Inspirational Award at the Inspiration Awards]
After watching the brutal murder of their family and barely escaping with their own lives, Justin and his 11-year old son Benny are placed in the Witness Protection Program. But all it takes is one woman and a careless mistake to send Justin and Benny careening into murder, money, lies, and ultimatly, a fight for their lives against the one person they never thought to suspect.
Dedicated to my friend Amber. Sometimes, a fixation is mutal. Sometimes, a fixation can be acted on. Two people with the same need. Based on the Justin Timberlake song of the same title.
Justin may be an independant artist but he still has a family back home in Memphis. Take a look at the affects of his fame through the eyes of one of the closests people Justin has to himself. His brother.
Based on the song from Justin's album, Justified, this is a story of a man and woman who love each other unconditionaly. Even through the hardest of times. 'Member, I love reviews lol
Fate does not exist. Destiny does not exist. Chivalry is dead, and there sure as hell is no such thing as romance. And, despite all that’s happened, I still believe that to an extent. What we have together…I don’t really think it’s all that romantic. I guess you could say it’s a cross between passion, love, and lust. Luvssion. Yeah, that’s what it is. Luvssion.
Marilyn Jaggers goes through life day to day. When she ends up being punched in the cereal aisle, her day gets inexplicably worse. Soon, Marilyn finds herself stuck between a rock and a hard place: ignore the pain from her derrierre or push aside her pride and call up the one man who can actually get under her skin. At least he's hurting too. That makes her feel better. It's good to grab onto the little things so you don't stab out attractive men's eyes. Their beautiful blue eyes...
He was desperate. He was going to do it. It wasn't like he was scared or anything. He just wanted to...talk to someone before. And then she picked up the phone. Isn't it strange how you don't have to know someone to know they need help. You just gotta hope they pick up. Winner of Best Short, Best Tearjerker and Best Justin at the Silent Tragedy Awards and Winner of Best Short and Best Tearjerker at the Satisfaction Awards!
Prayin' for daylight, waiting for that morning sun/ So I can act like my whole life ain't going wrong/ Baby come back to me I swear I'll make it right/ Don't make spend another lonely night/ Prayin' for daylight. {Based on the song by Rascal Flatts and inspired by the cover by The Sons Of Pitches}
